Sarah Palin Urges Newt Vote in Florida, Says Gingrich Will 'Clobber' Obama

Sarah Palin is urging Florida voters to vote for Newt Gingrich on Tuesday in their state's Republican primary.

"Vote for Newt," Palin told Jeanine Pirro, host of the Fox News weekend program "Justice with Jeanine."

Palin made a passionate plea for Republican voters to reject Mitt Romney in Florida to keep the primary process going forward.

The former Alaska governor made it crystal clear that she favors former House Speaker Gingrich, suggesting that the Republican establishment in New York and Washington is trying to anoint former Massachusetts Gov. Romney the GOP nominee.

"And I say, you know, you’ve got to rage against the machine at this point in order to defend our republic and save what is good and secure and prosperous about our nation,” Palin said. “We need somebody who is engaged in sudden and relentless reform and is not afraid to shake up the establishment. So, if for no other reason, rage against the machine, vote for Newt, annoy a liberal, vote Newt, keep this vetting process going, keep the debate going.”

Here are key points Palin made on Fox:

"Ronald Reagan wasn't afraid to take on sitting members of his own party who were in office. He challenged a sitting Republican. He knew politics of personal destruction hurt the cause of conservatism. What we see today what happened there in Florida this past week — it's gone beyond the pale, gone beyond aggressive and fair campaigning against an opponent."

Rick Santorum pointed out that Romney “drew first blood, and at first, Newt Gingrich didn't respond — he wanted to take the high road . . . [Newt] announced his intention to take the high road, but when you're continually hit and bombarded with negative rewritten history about yourself and your record, you have to hit back....

I’m worried about Sarah. She looks as though all of the communist bull**** she and her family has had to endure is catching up with her. On the other hand, it could be something FOX is doing with their cameras and lighting that is causing her to appear that way.

Short of her jumping on a plane, I don’t think Palin can do anything of significance in FL.

I wish she would appear with Newt.

She needs to do something that will force the media to report the story. Saying vote for Newt on some obscure show on Fox isn’t going to reach anyone but political hardcores.

All Florida conservatives should vote for Newt, including Santorum supporters. Santorum cannot win Florida and admits it. We need to block Romney. Block ObamneyCare!!

Annoy the GOP-E, vote for Newt!!

I was thinking the same thing. She’s been looking rather run down lately :-(

But God Bless her! Despite the toll all the media, Alisky-ites, RINO’s, etc have taken on her, she keeps on fighting, She could very just quietly slip away out of the public eye if she so desired.

She needs to fly to Florida, appear with Newt and formally endorse him, yesterday, and give the media a heads up so they can cover it in force.

Okay, I caught the last half or so of Sarah’s interview with Pirro last night. She basically endorsed Newt over and over without saying the “E” word, but when Pirro asked, she said it WAS NOT an endorsement. For heaven’s sake, why? Why not just say yes, so the news will hit the wires? Todd has already endorsed Newt, clearly Sarah feels the same, so I just don’t understand the game.

Cain came out for Newt yesterday, with Sarah, lighting and make up can make a world of difference in how one looks, but life and what she has gone through also take their toll on a person.

Probably some clause in her Fox News contract would be my guess.

Its her hair. It looks like crap. She needs to break into the rainy day jar and get a decent cut. Her hairstyle is making her look like an old lady. I cringe everytime I see it. She just needs a day at the beauty parlor.

McCain endorsed her by making her VP. She endorsed him when he ran for re-election. McCain endorsed Romney. It’s complicated.

Every Faux News RomneyBot has been trying to coerce the word "endorse" or "endorsement" out of Sarah Palin. Obviously, that particular magic word is enshrined in some contract language that will be used to silence her, or at least eliminate her Faux appearances.

She can’t while a contributor to FOX. None of them can endorse. She has done everything she can but come out and say it! Read between the lines.

Maybe she can’t endorse, but introducing and appearing on stage with Newt could have a similar effect.
