WASHINGTON (AP) — Democrats on a congressional committee say the panel has obtained no evidence that a flawed gun smuggling probe called Operation Fast and Furious was conceived or directed by high-level political appointees at Justice Department headquarters.
The Democrats say the probe grew out of a misguided five-year-long effort during both the George W. Bush and Obama administrations in the Phoenix division of the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives to dismantle arms trafficking networks along the Southwest border.

I know for a fact that they are lying. Issa is going to burn them like nothing they’ve ever felt. Most people would stop digging the hole once they realized they were in trouble. These idiots can’t seem to stop digging faster and faster and faster.
They ran a gun control scheme that blew up in their faces. Now, they’re trying to spin it to keep from going to prison. If they were smart, they’d be begging for prison to keep them away from the millions of PO’ed people out there that want their heads on a pike.
Dems aren't going "high" to expose Fast and Furious; they're attempting to BURY it. Thus far the "low levels" have been exposed.
Since, in prior testimony, he stated that he was unaware, it would be untenable for him to now contend that he took any particular action in direct response to the notification. Holder is at least admitting that he did nothing to rein in the illegal activity once it was revealed to him.
The only way Issa will get these DOJ people prosecuted is in state courts. Gore made it quite plain in the late 1990’s that “there is no controlling legal authority” if the DOJ itself is unwilling to institute prosecution.
The only other course would be to call a special prosecutor, but I believe that that has to be initiated by the Senate, which isn’t gonna happen.
Arizona has made it clear that they are willing to bring Fed’s to the bar and make them answer to state law.
The Easter Bunny is named in the report as ‘the low level agent’.

BUT don’t you as a Conservative make an error in judgement, or IT’LL BE BLOWN UP TOTALLY OUT OF PROPORTION, AND EXPLOITED way beyond reason.
And what has been handed over to Issa has been so redacted it is worthless.
