Dog sports are a big deal in Europe, particularly from northern France through southern Holland with a band of groups sweeping from there all the way to the Czech Republic. Whether KNPV, Belgian Ring, French Ring, or Shutzhund, these people are the nexus of protection, drug and bomb detection, and service dog breeding, worldwide.

In southern Holland, dog training has has the social status of a sort of blue-collar golf. These folks raise dogs to sell to security and military uses the world over. I know these people, and this will not go over well.

Dogs figure prominently in the history of Dutch politics. The Pug was the mascot of the ruling House of Orange. The Dutch Patriot party favored the breed found on Dutch barges. I bet my weight of dog exceeds your volume. I have one 85 lb. Pitador and one 95 lb. Great Dane who’s only 11.5 mo. old and still growing. I’m 6’1” and, when he jumps up and puts his paws on my shoulders, the Dane looks me straight in the eye at eye level. The Pitador sleeps with me; the Dane on the floor beside my bed. Somehow or other a Mudslime might just have trouble even being in my house, which hasn’t been dog free in the entire 25 years I’ve owned it.

Those dogs are not your grandma’s German Shepherd.

Yeah well... Dutch Shepherds are beautiful dogs (I've had three over 18 years),

But they're also serious dogs.

Gandhi is a "peacemaker" all righty.

The particular test shown is part of a KNPV trial called "the courage test." The decoy has to leave a visible welt on the dog or they run the trial again. The reason is not only for this test (to be sure the dog won't let go in battle), but for the next one in which he comes in for the bad guy facing gunfire. Most of those decoys are big guys, well over 200 pounds. With a 100# DSD coming in on him at 30mph, there's a good chance in this shot that he's going down. It takes guts to train these dogs. I have tremendous respect for these decoys; to them, it's not just a game but a serious physical, intellectual, and emotional commitment.

I've never bite trained a dog, but I've been in and around that community for almost two decades. These are truly serious men, and they'd hose those Muzzie sonsofbitches before letting them mess with their dogs.

The Danish People’s Party (DPP) wants to put a stop to immigration from Muslim countries, according to a new press release by the party. The party says Muslims don’t integrate and cause big problems with shariah zones, parallel societies and social control.

The announcement followed the release of marriage figures for immigrant groups. According to the new figures, just 20% of non-Western 2nd generation immigrants marry Danes. Among Pakistanis and Turks the figures are less than 10%.

“We must work towards bringing down the immigration from Muslim countries to zero. There can naturally be some exceptions, but there’s a need for political ambition to bring Muslim immigration close to zero,” says the party’s integration spokesperson Martin Henriksen.

“The 24-year old rule is now no longer enough. We have to deal with people who consciously decide to opt out of marrying Danes. It’s problematic. If we are to hope these families will be integrated in the future, we must introduce new and significant restrictions on immigration from Muslim countries,” says Henriksen.

By stopping immigration from Muslim countries, the Danish People’s Party hopes to stop the influx into the parallel societies, and eventually dissolve them.

“It will increase the possibility that young people will be able to break out of the parallel societies,” says Martin Henriksen.

Q: what is the figures are because people fall in love with people they have more in common with?

“Naturally there are those somebody with Turkish background who fall in love with others of Turkish background. But it’s well known that Muslim communities are very skeptical of - and look down on - if, for example, a girl goes out with a Danish boy or man. It can lead to sanctions and we should end that,” says Henriksen.

The DPP wants to stop Muslim immigration by stopping the new government’s rollback of the point system, tightening asylum laws and giving priority to Western labor immigration.
