RUSH: St. Louis. This is Greg. Great to have you on the program, sir. Hello.

CALLER: Hey, Rush. God bless you, buddy. Been listening to you for a long time, and, like you, I'm an expert at what I do. I've got a painting company, funny story, I have the ability to listen to you at different job sites, particularly residential job sites, and it's a hoot when I'm at a liberal's house painting with Rush Limbaugh on. It drives 'em crazy.

RUSH: I can imagine that. I've heard such stories, guys on ladders with the radio on where the owner can't get to it. The wife, in particular, just goes batty.

CALLER: Yep.

RUSH: Husbands, too. They can't do anything about it other than fire the painter, which they don't want to do.

CALLER: Right. Yeah. It's hysterical. It's really amusing. It's funny. I can almost tell neighborhood by neighborhood, you know, what kind of clientele I have and whether or not I'm gonna drive 'em crazy.

RUSH: How can you do that? How can you tell by neighborhood what kind of clientele you're gonna have?

CALLER: Yeah, well...

RUSH: Okay, you don't want answer, I caught you. The host caught you. Yeah, yeah, yeah, expert painter knows when he's going to a liberal neighborhood or a conservative neighborhood.

CALLER: You can tell.

RUSH: You can tell. Yep. Whether you got a car on concrete blocks in the front yard or not, I know.

CALLER: Yeah, right, right, especially election time when all the signs get put in the front yard, it's even more of a hoot.

RUSH: Yep.

CALLER: But, hey, the reason why I'm calling, you know, you're the guy that I listen to the most, and you're the guy that I get all my information from. I get why you couldn't endorse someone, but, boy, it sure would be helpful for me and your listeners for you, at the end of the day, say, "Here's the guy," because you're the expert, man. You know who's full of it, and you know who's legitimate, and it would be awesome if you would just, you know, come out and say, this is --
RUSH: Ah, see, wait a minute. You say you understand why I don't endorse. In fact, you said you understand why I can't endorse. And then you very sneakily and slyly try get me to endorse. If I tell you who I'm voting for, that's an endorsement. You're trying to tell me I can do that without actually endorsing anybody. Snerdley, I'm gonna tell you something. 'Cause Snerdley's behind this, folks. If I don't shut this down every call is gonna be somebody demanding or trying to pressure me. Snerdley is sitting in there thinking that I can change the outcome of elections if I would just say so. He really believes that.

You and I both know that's absurd, but he believes it. I'm just telling you, you could give me two more hours of this, I'm not gonna tell you. It isn't going to happen, because when this is all over, I am not gonna be in a position where my credibility is such that I can't support whoever the nominee is. 'Cause I am not voting Obama. I'm not supporting Obama. So whoever wins this, I can't sit here and pigeonhole myself in such a way that I don't have credibility supporting whoever the eventual nominee is, because Obama is the end result. I'll tell you right now, I'm not voting Obama. I'm the expert. And that's really all you need to know.

What in hell are you objecting to then? You're the IDIOT that apparently is offended by my outrage that Rush would consider carrying the water for a leftist RINO like Romney. I'd say that makes YOU the one with the problem.

Go ahead and take some time, though, and convince us that voting for Romney in the general election advances conservatism.

You seem evasive on this, did you come to support Mitt Romney against McCain and Hucakabee?

Rush isn’t being “fair”, “neutral”, he is against Newt.

The thing that is undeniable, is that Rush could be as clear with Mitt and Gingrich, as he was with McCain and Romney last time.

RUSH: “I think now, based on the way the campaign has shaken out, that there probably is a candidate on our side who does embody all three legs of the conservative stool, and that’s Romney.”

“...national radio talk-show host Rush Limbaugh, who endorsed Romney on Tuesday
[February 5, 2008]”

Just stop acting dumb when it comes to Romney. Go after him. Mark Levin is the only one who’s doing so at this point, and he deserves respect for it.

I think Rush will be very surprised when the reality hits, in the not very distant future, that the title of being the true number one conservative voice has moved from him to Mark Levin.

Over the past few weeks I have noticed that Levin is taking all of the very serious, while Rush remains ever the entertainer. Good if all you want is entertainment.

Add to the talk, Levin's last two books and I believe that I will not be alone in saying that the number one conservative voice is "the great one."

I think the last comment on his show today was a teaser.

Yep, if one is looking for "teasers" at this critical time in our nation's history, Rush is a good place to go. My grandkids deserve better.

I thank God for Newt's grandkids whom I believe have given him a new, and sincere, desire to lead. I don't think Rush will EVER get this.

Mark Levin ignored Obama’s eligibility. He continues to do so.

Mark Levin is a phony.

Mark Levin is more committed to his wallet than to the Constitution.

. . .whose record is as far to the left as Obama’s?

Romney's resume; certainly has it's Leftist touches. And no question; he jumps, 'left of center'; but still; Mitt cannot possibly match the 'anti-Christ' profile of Obama-the-Wicked Destroyer; who has 'singular' distinctions that separate him from our Leftist 'lessors'.

Pelosi; Reid and that class of Leftist 'ilk' come close to Obama 'quality'; but he still wins; save when it comes to 'insufferable'; then all these Lefties 'match'.

Putting Mitt on 'par' with Obama; simply diminishes the evil kingdom; Obama has worked so hard to create; and one that has his name on it. Not even Mitt, could go there.

That said; I otherwise have no 'defense' for Mitt. Nor those Republicans who determinedly; arrogantly imposed him upon our Republican 'body politic'. Still; I would never imagine that four more years of Obama; would be the same with even a small 'r' President in the Oval office. (Whatever happens; we must work, work to insure, better Representatives/Senators; working on our behalf. We can do that more easily with a Repub; at the top.)

One more point; Newt lost Florida; he can still win; next one; and next one. . .am not giving up on Newt!

That's just silly and hardly merits a response.

Landmark Legal (Mark Levin is President) has done more for constitutional law than Rush, Coulter, Hannity, and Beck combined.

I don't think that I would use the phrase, The Anti-Christ, while defending Mitt, remember that Bishop Romney is an official, destroyer of Christian souls.

Mark Levin has deliberately ignored Article 2, Section 1.

Shame on him! He is a phony and is far more committed to his bank account than that moldy old Constitution.

“His last comment of the day did sound like a back-handed endorsement of Rick. “

But he will deny it tomorrow.

Rush has almost stopped talking to callers. He maybe talks to just 4 or 5 in a 3 hour program.

Last I checked; his people do not destroy those in there homes; when they turn the missionaries away. Nor have done same, in any country they have visited. Bottom line; I fear not, the Mormon; do not think of them as a threat to America. OTOH. . .have to watch Obama, Inc. in action - word and deed. Not to mention, his response to the radicals per the religion that he seems to have a special place for, in his heart.

That said; am not going to turn this into a 'defense' of Mitt; whom politically; I reject.

Watch Mitt Romney Inc. in action - word and deed.

Romney has devoted his life and 10s of millions of dollars to putting on a Christian costume, and then convincing gullible Christians to leave Christ and become baptized into Mitt’s cult.

Obama isn’t even that Satanically evil, Stalin would only kill you, he would not deliberately kill you for eternity, so that he could become a God.

Considering the carnage this year we have called a campaign, I don't blame Rush. When the next skeleton pops out of a closet, the next girlfriend shows up, real or otherwise, and the sharks smell blood in the water again, things could yet change. I haven't 'endorsed' anyone (not that it would matter), although I was leaning toward Cain (now out).

I am concentrating on issues, on what America needs, and who, if anyone, is offering solutions.

Gullibility is it's own trap.

. . .and gullible Christians will pay their 'own' price. At least it is not a 'sword' at their neck; nor becomes one in mine. Have only to look at Obama's war against Christianity; less and less covert; increasingly brazen and threatening. Beginnings; not unlike 'other religious/cultural wars' in other domains.

Mormons do not hate Christians or Jews; nor do they believe that their survival, depends on exterminating the 'other'.

Given the political/cultural/religious assaults/war on America per the 'likes' of Obama Lefties; ET AL and those so associated; think it critical that we focus first; on the enemy closest at hand.

Devoting his life to stealing Christian souls, makes Bishop Romney the most evil, corrupt man that we have ever seen run for president. That is the ultimate “political/cultural/religious assaults/war on America”.

Governor Romney is the most hard left, passionately pro-abortion, and homosexual agenda promoter that we have ever seen in our primary.

Just how far do you want to go in defending him?

Why are you promoting Romney at all?
