Today, Patrick Murphy, the underdog in the Democratic primary for Congressional District 22, called incumbent U.S. Rep. Allen West -- a retired lieutenant colonel in the U.S. Army, and a combat veteran, mind you -- "a coward."
Responding to Wests decision to run in a newly drawn district further north, Murphy posted the following statement on his website: Allen West went from talking tough this weekend and telling progressives to "get the hell out of this country" to abandoning the people who elected him. There is no other way to interpret this: Allen West is a coward. The truth is that the maps are far from set and I will continue to monitor the redistricting process closely. Forget that Murphy has purposely twisted Wests words and taken them out of context. I'm not even going to bother with those offenses.
It is an absolute outrage that Murphy would dare use such a despicable word to describe a combat veteran and an officer of the U.S. military -- any combat veteran and officer, for that matter, regardless of their political views or affiliation.

Not a chance. Murphy’s the coward.
You’re thinking about a different Murphy. The Florida Murphy has never served in the military.
EXACTLY!
Here is the brave name caller. Maybe someone more technologically savvy can post it, for alas, I cannot : |

People dog LTC West for being impulsive, but I have to say, considering who he has to put up with every day, I think he displays a great deal of restraint!
:-)
Do you think pencil neck weasel Patrick Murphy would rather take the Survivor challenge with Allen West...
Underwater?
At the track?
Or, on the open road perhaps?
Yes he does.
Great pics! He’s a brave man.
West did not say such thing. Libs can only comprehend when they use a teleprompter. West pointed out to their MESSAGES not any person, hello!!!
I was going to post about the incident that took place when he was in Iraq, but the Wiki account seemed a bit different than I remembered. That event has always impressed me very much. He’s got guts.
Pardon the hate, with some of these commies, I just can't supress it.
A little hate, in fat boob's case, is understandable and forgivable.
Ebola? Or is that too quick and merciful?
THAT’S RACIST
Any time they say anything about West, say it is because THY ARE RACIST
Heck, that’s what they do to us, it just never occurs to us to say it back.
(Probably because of ‘projection’ you tend to think other people behave as you do- we are not racists so we don’t tend to automatically think other people’s motives are racist. )
The story of the body armor is toward the end of it, as told by one of the soldiers he gave it to. Good stuff!
I love the pics! The underwater one is my favorite!
He led a diving team of several disabled veterans to descend on the wreck of the Ancient Mariner near Deerfield Beach, FL.
The soldiers flag, the one West is holding in this picture, was auctioned for charity, with the proceeds going to the Diveheart Organization, which deals with teaching soldiers and others with disabilities how to scuba dive.
Love the pictures!!!
As Nancy would say, you have to pass it to see whats in it...
