Nevermind the fact that Toomey has proven to be less Conservative than advertised...he voted to repeal DADT and was one of the key GOP Senate players in the failed “Super Committee.”
I have faith in Toomey, though. The supercommittee was a disastrous idea.
We in Pa. are planning on sending him some help in November. My hope (and money) is on Sam Rohrer.
That is not true. He wasn't seated as a Senator when that was repealed. He just said he would vote to repeal. Now if he won the '04 race, you would be right.
I will take a politician like Toomey any day over any democrat counterpart. In real world we must live in, no one is pure as white snow. We must look at overall effect. Even Sarah Palin endorsed McCain in his senate bid against a much more conservative candidate.
