Cognative dissonance
I’m quite certain that all of the Walt Disney produced male BW spiders have got that covered.
The “normal” ones (i.e. those that can’t talk or drink their scotch neat) not so much.
You’re of course speaking from a man’s point of view right? :)
$8????!!!!!
“Who are we rooting for now On FR? I am scared to say what I think anymore for fear of a zot.”
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~`
Silly season...and ugly season-—anybody but Obama and preferably anybody but Romney. Eventually, we may have to swallow Romney, and for the sake of our country, most here on FR hope not.
Many here on FR have been for-— and often sequentially passionate for -— Palin, Perry, Cain, Newt, and now that Santorum looks like he is in the race, for Santorum.
Don’t fear the zot. Tensions are high and as ugly as I have seen here on FR.
Jim Robinson gave a reasoned opinion below after the Santorum sweep. Like the rest of conservatives in America, Freepers are still in flux, and tensions are high because we conscious Freepers, above most citizens, know the stakes.
Let freedom of speech reign on FR-—(as long as you are not a retread Obot or Romneybot :-))
Jim Robinson to County Agent Hank Kimball
I dont have any problem with Santorum. Just think Newt is more experienced and a stronger leader. I like what Newt did in the 80s and 90s and I like his current plans for gutting the out of control federal government. Gutting is what we need.
Ha ha...
I wouldn’t bother to try to speak from a woman’s point of view.
No experience.
No hope if Grandma caught me trying it.....
he is much more rational than the sycophants that lick his boots
‘teacher, teacher, teacher - sloop won’t kick your boots like i will - ban him’
Well I have never been a Santorum fan ,but I have said for months that the guy could end up being sleeper in this race.
I still think Perry is more conservative, but things are what they are.
I Think if I had to make a choice between Newt and Santorum I would pick Newt.
As Perry said, “he has a better understanding of the shark tank that is Washington”
Yep, in a hurry to get to the juicer(supper fasting juice meal) and when I read the receipt, charged for 6 broccoli at $1.98, when cucumbers were 2 for $1.
Fish Fridays? I love fish everyday!
I would have a word with the grocer.
Yes, he could!
Other than Palin, I haven’t had a dog in the race. I feared Palin was conflicted between being a mama-grizzly to her country or her family. Increasing I thought she would choose her family, and she did. There was much I liked about Cain, but he withered under the heat. I regret that Perry left the race too early.
I am still conflicted.
On the one hand, I agree with you and JR. On the other hand, in the last couple weeks, I have begun to think that Newt can’t overcome his negatives to get the nomination, and may not deliver on what he promises even if he wins the presidency.
On the one hand, I still want Newt in the race because he gets what needs to be said out in the open (nails the MSM, nails Obama, wins hands-down on the “big picture” debate).
On the other hand, I wonder if it would be better that Newt dropped out and worked with Santorum (because Newt despises Romney). I think Santorum has under-promised and over-delivered. More than any of the candidates, I trust him more to have the skills and the final will to do what he says he will do if elected president.
Anyway we look at it, Newt, Santorum, Paul, and Romney are going into Super-Tuesday. I want to give them each their due respect.
At this point I won’t trash any of them (not even Romney-—I take that back; I will trash Romney on these 2 points: He is the GOP elite’s choice to eviscerate the Tea Party, and although he vows to repeal ObamaCare, what he intends to do is shove ObamaCare as a state mandate, rather than a federal mandate). Unlike Newt and Santorum, Romney doesn’t have experience in Washington, he doesn’t truly understand the peril, and he will cave to get along to make meager increments of “success.”
I will DEFEND any attack against either Newt or Santorum, when I can source-document a logical rebuttle against the attack.
Rihgt now the Msm Is giving Newt the cold shoulder and they are ignoring him while buzzing about Santorum.
This is intentional. it is calculated to take the wind out of Newts sails and promote guy that they think will me easier for obama to dismantle.
I dont treat him like that on a normal day.
I have seen some claims on Facebook that Rush has endorsed Romney. Has anyone seen that?
