Thank you for illustrating my point: in the absence of the law, one is forced to take matters into his own hands. Way to go, Rambo.
You’re welcome. Meanwhile, keep running to your government to receive your liberty.
CBS’ 4 on you side... is more literate. When reading some news papers, I just can’t believe how these writers got a degree-—not directed at you-—and the known fact that journalist are quickly becomming irrelevent while they still spin their 4th grade articulations of the subject matter. I’d say half the reporters I listen to trip over their own words, can’t pronounce peoples names properly, just being, plain talking beauties with little brain power-—some are men who are as bad or worse-— to watch Matt Lauer and company insert some kooky non-story about, “Why woman like hot dogs more than men,” the snickers begin, the open smirks, then the whole room is a giggle fest, and sometimes this doesn’t stop for five minutes-—I watch periodically to see how far down the drain reporting has become. Even Fox is becomming more Lame-stream these days, especially late night broadcasts where the same juvenile bobblers spew and giggle like pre-teens, just sickning.
Id rather see a dummy report news than a genius make up his own(spin).
No, it’s not that much of an emergency.
Dial 311.
What is the purpose of licensing a dog as opposed to another pet? When they come for your dog, they will come for your guns. Who cares if I have a yorkie in my home? Screw them!
“how many others dont have licenses and face the possibility of arrest”
Count me in, although not for CO. And mine have been German Shepherds.
I keep finding out what a menace to society I am lately - no dog license(s), no seatbelts. Oh, and when I fished so much as a kid - no license.
Public Enemy #1.
Cats probably are supposed to.
I will say, I hate these encroaching laws on pet ownership (I live where there is a 75$ license for unspayed/unneutered dogs and a breeder permit if you decide to have even one litter, which is more than just a fee, you have to jump thru hoops as well). But, instead of just ignoring the laws and doing whatever they want, I wish people would actually work with those of us who tried hard to keep them from getting passed and failing that get the bozos who voted for them thrown out of office. Ignoring the law won’t make a diddly damn to the politicians or the law enforcement. They will just grind you through the system and go on making more stupid laws.
Aside from being a money maker the real purpose of the licensing scheme is to nudge the public into spaying and neutering their dogs and cats. Why? Because the radical animal rights agenda is to do away with pets. Don’t believe me? Google Ingrid Newkirk quotes. She’s quite open and honest about their goals. She was the co-founder of PETA and they are linked to HSUS. Both of those organizations are behind much of the animal rights and welfare legislation out there. Most places offer a cheaper license if your pet is spayed or neutered. Some places now require you to spay or neuter. As if your pet does not belong to you.
You are so bad! ;)
Nah. Mass non-violent non-compliance is the only answer.
Just don’t do it. (to mangle a phrase)
How's that workin for ya?
I will blame you when this happens.
I don’t know, are you going to bother to vote in 2012 or are you going to just use your non-compliance theory?
30 million illegal aliens can’t be wrong.
Seems to be working fine for them...
With Siamese cats you don't need to go door to door -- they can be heard inside the license office at City Hall.
Maybe for him being stupid. What point is there to armed robbery when you can put on a tie for a few days, get elected to public office and steal all you want with impunity?
I’m a rebel, after all.
But officer, he's NEVER off the leash and I don't let him drive alone.
