Twin brothers Osbrany and Osmany Montesdeoca enlisted in the Marines together shortly after they graduated high school.
Now, just over a year later, Osmany is returning from Afghanistan to attend his brother's funeral after Osbrany was killed on Friday while serving in Helmand Province.
'They were always talking about the Marines,' said the boys' uncle Andriano Moreta.

Indeed. Heartbreaking. No words just prayers.
What ever happened to the rule of siblings not serving in the same combat theater?
God bless this brave hero and comfort his family and friends. Semper Fi!
I have to think that the only thing that might be worse than losing a brother would be losing a twin. R.I.P. Marine. Prayers up for the family and especially for the twin brother.
This family lives a few blocks from me, on the border of the next town. They have large American & Marine Corps flags hanging on the front of their home. A few blocks to the west another family lives along the same street, whose father died in the World Trade Center. I know Sarah Palin thinks only people in flyover country fight the wars of this country, but she is wrong (not a knock on Sarah; I like her and wish she was in the race this time - and not as a VP candidate).

The Daily Mail is a UK publication, and thumbs up for the American angle. That’s why I sometimes prefer the Brit newspapers as they don’t follow the liberal pukes in the US media.
There is another brother in the Marines as well, and one in high school. When a first saw the picture of the deceased, I wondered if I had seen him in a bar a few blacks down from their house, then I realized he was only 20. What a shame; rest in peace.
RIP.
God bless them and all of you. Truly I think Sarah knows we all fight in the War on Terror. Lots of Alaska troops in AFG, along with my son. Keep fighting the good fight, patriot!
Thanks; may God keep your son and the rest of our countrymen safe.
I hope this neighbor family knows that their sons are heroes and that our hearts, thoughts and prayers are with them.
I’m sure they will; I believe he will be buried in a “9/11” section of a local cemetery. That same cemetery had a burial for an Essex County sheriff who died over there a few months ago, and the motorcade (which drove a few miles to get there) was incredible.
More deserving having a ship named after him than Gabby Gm
From your lips to God’s ears!
