Meet the ObamaCare Mandate Committee Think the contraception decision was bad? Wait until

Offended by President Obama's decision to force health insurers to pay for contraception and surgical sterilization? It gets worse: In the future, thanks to ObamaCare, the government will issue such health edicts on a routine basis—and largely insulated from public view. This goes beyond contraception to cancer screenings, the use of common drugs like aspirin, and much more.

Under ObamaCare, a single committee—the United States Preventative Services Task Force—is empowered to evaluate preventive health services and decide which will be covered by health-insurance plans.

The task force already rates services with letter grades of "A" through "D" (or "I," if it has "insufficient evidence" to make a rating). But under ObamaCare, services rated "A" or "B"—such as colon cancer screening for adults aged 50-75—must be covered by health plans in full, without any co-pays. Many services that get "Cs" and "Ds"—such as screening for ovarian or testicular cancer—could get nixed from coverage entirely.

That's because mandating coverage for all the "A" and "B" services will be very costly. In 2000, the Congressional Budget Office estimated that the marginal cost of similar state insurance mandates was 5%-10% of total claims. Other estimates put the cost of mandates as high as 20% of premiums.

Health plans will inevitably choose to drop coverage for many services that don't get a passing grade from the task force and therefore aren't mandated. Insurance companies will need to conserve their premium money, which the government regulates, in order to spend it subsidizing those services that the task force requires them to cover in full.

I read this article this morning, and I was wondering if this is a second commission, different than the one that was set up under the stimulus bill, that Sarah Palin termed, the death panel? I remember that that commission had seventeen people and it was heavily weighted with minorities.

As I recall. ObamaCare nixed unproven experimental procedures foe Cancer. Do you know what goes on at the Dana Farber Institute in Boston? Just that. And they’re little kids too.

Here's a link to an article on the "Death Panel" Health Commission. Apparently, it is headed by Ezekiel Emanuel. Sound familiar?

Try finding an Asian, Hispanic, Caucasian, or anyone of any ethnicity other than black in the employment ranks of Memphis utility companies, city government, schools, or other such agencies. It would be so simple to argue a case proving discimination in employment. But this is exactly what Samuel Jackson was talking about. It’s coming baby. If Obama gets his next term, it will be the 1940’s and the new jews are the middle class whites. The most vulnerable will be the ones about to retire and who will no longer be coughing up payroll taxes each week to the Obamanites. The days of that demographic are numbered.

If I'm ever forced into a position of needing to appear before one of these abominations, I promise you, it will be a death panel.

Oh, don't worry. You will never be afforded the opportunity to appear before the committee and make your case. The closest you will ever get to the committee will be a letter telling you your claim has been denied.

Some 80% of an individuals healthcare costs are captured from the age of birth to ten, and then over 65. So any government panel tasked with any reductions in expenditures means that the very young and the very old will be the well best to draw down on.

Morphine will flow like champagne fountains. I'd hate to think of the late night healthcare workers incentive packages might contain? Maybe a graveyard shift who's nickname becomes something more real?

At the next point in this march to socialized medicine we will discover that many treatments and medicines will just not be available even if you pay for them. If the treatment isn’t covered, it won’t be offered because there will be insuficient demand or it will be forbidden by the government ( if the “poor” can’t get it why should the “rich”). Combined with the tort lawyers attacks on drug industry profits, our medical care will get much worse, very quickly.

I’m considering a legal name change to “Kwazia Infume” in order to better stack my odds before these healthcare review boards.

It written right into Obamacare, the redistribution of health care to Blacks from the middle class Whites.

There are advisory boards built into it to oversee the distribution of health care funds to make sure that “traditionally underserved” communities get their “fair share” of health care funds and services. “Fair” is not defined.

It written into the bill that philanthropic organizations must turn over (or add more seats) 40% of the seats on their board of directors to people who represent the “underserved” communities, so that they can properly direct the funding.

I forgot to mention that included in the bill is also a directive to build jogging paths and other outdoor athletic facilities in the inner city communities, to encourage a more healthy life style.

I recently read that the left has a new redistribution term, something that they call, environmental justice. I guess that the jogging paths could be included under this term, as well as the beautification that they are claiming is necessary for a more healthy outlook. (around here, they are referring to Indian reservations).

Folks, the Collection-Agency is coming first, 17,000 new ones. From birth to passing. That’s the real plan.

Everyone but, The Exempt Ones, are written in to this slavery.

Ok, why the HELL are we engaging in a debate on what is in Obama care? Don’t people get it? By engaging in a conversation about it, we are VALIDATING it’s existence and the fact it is going to run our lives in 2 years??

REPEAL THE ABOMINATION! Then we won’t HAVE to discuss what is in the horror!

Stop buying into this damn discussion! Instead, demand it’s full repeal!

Sounds like the time is coming when we will be forced to “Go Alinksy” on the members of this committee. Names, home addresses, personal phone numbers, etc. published all over the Internet.
