I'm not going to comment on whether I think Graham is gay, one way or another. Or on his ideological leanings.

But Barney Frank is an incredible dirtball with a nasty/mean streak a mile long ... and it's well within his capacity and track-record to issue a non-denial like this just to stir up dissension against Graham.

Frank is simply not a reliable source on this, and unless/until it's confirmed from reputable sources I'm going to dismiss it as Frank being an a**hole.

I have no use for Lindsey Graham. He is an arrogant, insulting & simpering crackpot on immigration issues. I could absolutely destroy the man in a debate. (Note my public letter to him in 2006: Letter To Lindsey Graham.) Moreover, I suspect that Strom Thurmond is spinning in his grave over Lindsey's misuse of his Senate seat, if it is possible to spin in a casket.

But if there is any possibility that these rumors are false, I would distance myself from the subject. There are enough issues with his less than tepid defense of Conservative values, which we can focus on, without impugning his masculinity. I hesitated even to post this, lest by posting, I helped continue the attention on gossip, rather than specific actions in the Senate of the United States. When we focus on actual issues, we help educate the public. When we focus on gossip, we turn off much of the public.
