Are we supposed to take this clown seriously? The main factor causing the high gas prices (about twice as high since he came into office) is his administration's head-in-the-sand policy regarding exploration and development of existing domestic and offshore energy resources and its resistance to importing from friendly nations such as Canada!

All he would have to do to to ease the gasoline prices for quite some time (and increase employment in the U.S.) is to start by allowing the Canadian oil pipeline through the United States. But he's too obsessed with pandering to the Left. Plus, contrary to what he's saying now, high gas prices - as in Europe - were his goal from the get-go.

Notice that the "feel your pain" routine is right out of the Clinton playbook.

In 2008 Obama was running around blaming republicans for the horribly high gas prices ($1.80), claiming that gas price was the most critical thing in the USA.

Now he complains because someone has “politicized gas prices”.

And who exactly wrote the article stating that Republicans were licking their chops? Stephanopolous? Carville? Most lil=kely a setup planned in advance for a coordinated media rollout.

Shout the good news! It’s how this regime measures success:

“Somehow, we have to figure out how to boost the price of gasoline to the levels in Europe.” - Obama’s Energy Secretary Steven Chu

I heard a short clip of Obama's energy speech on the top-of-the-hour radio news. His voice was combative, defiant, threatening. It was scary and creepy.

This guy is bordering on psycho. He is going to slip up badly one of these days...or he may even break.

Read the first few paragraphs. Notice how this writer makes Obama sound heroic, wonderful, strong. He doesn’t exactly say this, but his words certainly give that impression.

Similarly, the reporter pretty much sympathizes with Obama’s attack on the Republicans.

Obama is a nasty piece of work. Everything is always someone else’s fault. You’d think that the media might occasionally question this. But they never do. Even when he is screaming and yelling in the most partisan fashion imaginable, as he is here, somehow Obama is the good guy, and the Republicans are the nasty villains for questioning him.

And, in fact, the Republicans mostly just sit there with their mouths open and take whatever he gives them.

. . . . . President Barack Obama charged Thursday that Republicans are "licking their chops" over painfully high gas prices that threaten the fragile economic recovery.

Sadly, there are about 30% of the people in this country who believe every filthy lie this man says.

Assuming we can dump his butt in November, it is insulting and offensive that not only have we taxpayer's had to absorb the huge debt he has created, but we will have to pay him an outrageous "pension" as a former president. I have no doubt that he will be as bad or worse than Clinton as a former president. We will NEVER be rid of him . . . . . . . . . . . . . .

Unless . . . . . . . someone brings real charges against him for fraud, treason, sedition, malfeasance and lying to the Congress, the American people and the world about his birth, national origin, religion and eligibility to be POTUS. With a conviction, he should be thrown UNDER the prison and Moochelle should have to work her ugly fat butt off for the rest of her life trying to pay back every penny of which these trailer trash have defrauded the American people.

Obummer is defending the indefensible. We have to make him feel the pain at the ballot box in November.

the republicans need to throw the chu and skyrocket quotes back at him immediately and often and say ‘sorry, Mr president, it is your side calling for higher prices, prices that are going up because of your policies. and your plan to tap the SPR for political expediency is another failed policy. The answer is simple - get out of the way and stop trying to prevent americans from solving this man-made disaster the way they always have, with guts, vision, and the promise of keeping the hard-earned results of their efforts’

If there isn’t a Republican or Republican operative on the TV, radio, news, print, town hall, every hour on the hour beating this drum —then they really are on the same team. Gas prices brought Bush down and they can do the same to Ozero but NOT if we let them rewrite history and the present.
