They should have poured concrete over the coffin. It’s morbid.
“Is anybody surprised by this?”
I have to admit that I was. I really didn’t follow her death and funeral much. I was unaware of the ostentatiousness of the funeral and her burial.
It’s a sick world. I could easily imagine several losers digging her grave up just to rob it. I suspect that they’ll have to move her somewhere more private - just like they did with Elvis Presley.
No, just think, in the future someone could say,
“Yo,Bro, I got a piece of Whitney.”
Just from an archeology standpoint I think it’s
kewl, but didn’t they learn anything from the
pyramids?
Good taste is always in style.
The only thing about the whole Whitney Houston fiasco that has had any sense of class, was Kevin Costner’s touching eulogy at her funeral.
What do they expect when it was reported in the media that she was buried with that many jewels. Sooner or later someone will steal them from her grave.
They ain’t gonna guard it forever. My brother has a perfect plan (he’s worked on Tijuana tunnels.) We’re patient.
They should have included a golden crack pipe just to make it real.
They moved “Elvis” because he wasn’t there in the grave. D’uh!
They pretty much do. They have a concrete vault around the coffins. I know this from having paid for the same for my mom’s burial. At least its a requirement here in Pa. But the idiots who think they’re entitled would still try anyway. So typical.
I agree, Cleopatra needs her sceptre.
un-needed and nasty comment award to you.
But Whitney’ s relatives were absolute idiots to bury her body like an ancient queen. Including objects of value in a coffin is a guarentee grave robbers WILL strike, sooner or later. Many are buried with no jewelry,it being kept by the living in remembrance. The dead have no use for any great finery. At the Resurrection, all will receive more glorious raiment.
And it is in bad taste and quite probably not Christian.
I don’t believe it.
“concrete vault .... requirement here in Pa”
Nope.
LOL.
A vigorous application of sledgehammers to the vault lid will make short work of it.
The best protection is for the gravesite to be in a highly visible location such that any and all activity there is certain to be noticed. The more private and secluded the easier to desecrate.
“Could be worse... could be raining!”
Elvis moved himself.....to Germany last I heard.
