Luton (pronounced Looton), which is just north of London, is where terrorists boarded the train on the way to bomb London targets few years back. Ten years ago I flew into Gatwick from the U.S.and had to make a connection with a British discount airline that was based out of Luton. They had direct flights to Gibraltar where I was scheduled to sail a 15 meter yacht to the Canary Islands.
That's why I remember the Luton connection to the bombers.
