Wyoming issuing its own alternative currency, if needed. And House members approved an amendment Friday by state Rep. Kermit Brown, R-Laramie, to have the task force also examine conditions under which Wyoming would need to implement its own military draft, raise a standing army, and acquire strike aircraft and an aircraft carrier.

b) Does anyone in Wyoming know how to run an aircraft carrier? From what I understand it’s pretty dangerous and requires very strict choreography that not even the Soviets had a terrific grasp of.

I am sure they have people who know every aspect of running a carrier. A surprising number of guys from land locked states sign up for the Navy.

Where to build it is a more serious issue.

“I think I know where they’re going with this. My state tried it about a hundred and fifty years ago. It didn’t go well.”

It will have to be tried again, eventually.

The left, which has acquired an ever-increasing grasp upon the reins of power in this land, will never let that grip loose without the “persuasion of force”.

How “well” it will go the second time around, can’t say. Like you, I’m not optimistic, either.

But there will be no option, unless traditionalists/conservatives can be satisfied living under leftist dominance...

f Yellowstone blows, I don’t want to be any closer.

May as well cosy up - if Ol’ Yeller goes up there will be no place to hide - just be sure if you are less than 1,000 miles away, not to shelter in any above ground structure as the roof will colapse with the weight of the ash - think concrete.

Followed by a worldwide winter for several decades or centuries ...

I think the “centerists” are getting used to living in an economy with reduced opportunity and activity, and this is the reason for the President’s improving poll numbers.

Let us assume that, just for the sake of argument, that the US has gotten to the point where Washington has dumped the constitution

No need to assume - it is already well under way.

They’ll have a hard time beating Idaho to it.

Idaho is not a problem. They are full of patriotic people like Wyoming. They even have a port at Lewiston capable of sending grain barges down the Columbia River to be loaded on ocean freighters.

They might want to hold off on that aircraft carrier until they get a coastline.

Maybe there is more to this California falling into the sea than we care to think about?
Of course they ‘laughed’ when NY was in the planning stages of the “Erie Canal”.

In terms of technology and/or equipment, might not be as much problem building a trench to the Pacific as it was a ditch between Albany and Buffalo.

“they” scoffed at the Erie Canal
“they” scoffed at walking on the moon.
“they” said no one like BO would ever be prez.

So, to be able to berth the “Big E” in Jackson Hole WY just requires a little thought and stamina.

Like when the clouds opened up and a voice boomed
“One wish, I will grant you one wish”
“I have a fear of flying, I would like a bridge so I can visit Hawaii regularly”
“That my friend is not only impractical but darn nigh impossible. The logistics alone are mind boggling”.

“OK, well, when do you think BO will start making sense and all will catch on that he is a fraud”?

“hmmm do you want four or 6 lanes on that bridge”?

Maybe they plan on invading a couple of states.

Wyoming is my next door neighbor. I am prepared to sign a mutual defense agreement with them.

My state tried it about a hundred and fifty years ago. It didn’t go well.

That was a disagreement over a Constitutional Amendment that was agreed to and ratified by a majority of the States, and your state's disagreement was with those other states.

This a going to be over things nobody agreed to, between Wyoming and DC.

Well, maybe they plan on "annexing" the Pacific Northwest with their standing army!

Might as well seize British Columbia and Alberta as well. They will corner the market on gourmet coffee and grunge music in the process.

By time the EPA did it's mandatory approvals it would be a rusting hulk.

But by then the Yellowstone caldera may have made a big enough lake bed they could fill with water
