Gingrich didn’t attack Romney at the last debate. I totally think he will take second place to add gravitas to the ticket just to beat obama.

I’ll vote for ELMER FUDD over Obama....so if Mitt gets in....he’s got my vote

If Mitt gets in, BT, Obama will win. The only way to defeat him is to nominate a core Conservative who can stand in stark contrast to the radical policies of the leftist Hussein.

Funny that Rush has always hammered this point home..until recently..cuz he knows that it would be an easy leap to attach him to Santorum or Newt if he did.
And he wants to remain “neutral”.
Well, good to see that you are putting your ratings ahead of the country’s future, El Rushbo.

A Romney (aka Obama-lite)/Gingrich ticket would mean a landslide loss to Obama.

BUT Romney would likely pick Rubio unless Ron Paul blackmails him into choosing Rand.

Nevertheless, Obama is re-elected easily.

UNLESS we nominate Santorum!

Another Sellout?

We sure are being shown the RINO's who will sell their souls for fame, and political intentions.

She will suffer the same fate as Niki Haley, when re-election comes.

If Romney-the-RINO (aka, "The Chosen One") wins the Republican Nomination, I will be doing a write-in.....I WILL NEVER VOTE FOR ROMNEY, PERIOD.

I see Gingrich as a statesman who will bring everyone together when this bloody mess is over. I don’t have a dog in this race any more. I was a huge Perry supporter from day one and he supported Gingrich. I would love for Gingrich to win but his numbers aren’t looking very promising. My state’s primary isn’t until June so I’m left with voting for whoever the nominee is at this point. Trying to take a realistic approach.

I know. Because I did not support the Republican candidate I am evil, stupid, probably anti American and should be tossed off Free Republic. A vote of conscience does not matter as long as one hates Democrats and anyone that does not agree with you.

Could someone please explain HOW Romney is “electable?”

On another note, I don't want to post a vanity about it, but I'm wondering if anyone is talking about Ann Coulter’s unbelievable lie on Fox & Friends today. She said that, even when pushed to do so, Romney has refused to attack his “fellow conservatives.” OMG.
^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^

Coulter has not only jumped the shark, she should move to National Aquarium and swim in the tank with them.

What did it for me was when she called the Article 2 Section 1 defenders “CRANKS” and used the KKK to make her point. After this every few months or so she would do or say something that was unbelievable. Now it seems that she is missing the mark every other day or so.

Is there anyone left here on Free Republic that still defends her?

I’d just consider her just another politician.

Honestly I never thought I'd see the day that a Mormon Bishop with deep "connections" in SLC would be the GOP nominiee.

What has happened to the bulk of Christianity in the USA?

If Romney is the nominee it’s because Saint Rick couldn’t close the deal with the GOP voters. I am so sick of the Santorum backers think everyone should just stop running a support him in his quest to be a trivia question about what presidential candidate lost in the biggest landslide in history. When Newt was leading I don’t remember any you saying Rick should throw his support to Newt, now that he is having some success he is asking all the Newt supporters to bend over grab, their ankles and take on for the team.

This a man who has voted against his conscience on Medicare Part D, NCLB, Arlen Specter, PPH funding through Title X etc., and now he is telling us that those were all mistakes and his taking one for the team. The facts are he is just a typical, big government, establishment pol. Geez he even supported Romney in 2008 I guess that was taking one for the team too. It’s easy to say you are for small government, but when he had the opportunity to vote that way he voted to raise the national debt 5 times, but of course again I am sure he was just taking one for the team.

There’s a large contingent of Mormons in Arizona, and Bishop Romney instructs them how to vote.

The percentage of Mormons in the Phoenix area in 2012 is nothing compared to what it was in say 1965.

Like I’ve seen on FR recently.

Primary: ABR
November: ABO

Get with the program. I can’t stand Romney for many reasons. BUT I’m not stupid enough to sit home or vote 3rd party at this point to hand Ozippy his “another 5 years”.

This is ugly - once again we’re being pushed to accept Romney. Don’t sit back and accept this premise. And NO more Bushes. Geeeeeesh. This stuff makes one’s head explode.

Some states are having success with no benefits and jobs for illegal’s and they are going home. Also the poor job prospects here in the US is causing them to leave.

While I am rooting for Newt it doesn’t mean I pretend he has no flaws and I am not going all syncophant over him....

I also think he comments about Paul Ryan’s plan sucks, as well as his leftist attacks on capitalism, but of course Rush didn’t like those comments too, so does that mean I should not listen to Rush or not listen to you.

So, Newt has changed his border position again.
