Joint Statement by the Delegations Assigned to Probe Bagram Incident

Saturday, 25 February 2012 09:02

In the Name of Allah, the Most Merciful, the Most Compassionate

Following the insulting and shameful act of burning Quran in Bagram airbase that injured the religious sentiments of the Islamic world and particularly of the Afghan Muslim nation, two delegations comprising of representatives from government, the National Council of Ulemma and the National Assembly were assigned and dispatched to investigate the circumstances and causes that have led to the inhumane incident.

The delegations, while deeply touched by the religious sentiments shown by the Afghan Muslim and Mujahid nation, inform our citizens of the following:

1. In view of the particular security situation in the country, we call on all our Muslim citizens of Afghanistan to exercise self-restraint and extra vigilance in dealing with the issue and avoid resorting to protests and demonstrations that may provide ground for the enemy to take advantage of the situation.

2. After the shameful incident by the US soldiers stationed in Bagram, senior NATO and American officials expressed their deep apologies to the Muslim nation of Afghanistan and assured that such incidents will not happen again.

3. NATO officials promised to meet Afghan nation’s demand of bringing to justice, through an open trial, those responsible for the incident and it was agreed that the perpetrators of the crime be brought to justice as soon as possible.

4. The assigned delegations demand from the government of Afghanistan to take over from the Americans the authority of the Bagram prison so no such incidents can recur and calls on the US government to fully and comprehensively cooperate to this end.

5. The delegations also want from the Afghan government to formally praise those brave Afghan army soldiers and all others who showed feelings against the disrespectful act by preventing more religious books and Quran copies from burning, so that the pure Muslim sentiments of our honored Mujahid nation can remain alive.

My buddy pissed in the prayer washer by accident in Saudi. He thought it was a urinal. He got yelled at (in Arabic) by a few of the locals but that was all. No riots, no death threats.

Saudi Arabia bathrooms don’t have urinals. I think all the men piss sitting or squating. They have a mix of Western style commodes and holes in the floor.

agree we cannot win the war but there are other soldiers form different countries being killed too, Italian soldiers were just killed.
Brit soldiers have took many causalities too.

It’s not those serving which are at fault, every marines and soldier there wants to win, it is the Govts and idiots like NATO which seem to always wants to screw things up.

The military will always win wars those elected or those behind their desks lose the war.

I hope the law firm of *Pork Swine, Pig Rectum and Borat* are the lawyers hired to defend the soldiers that followed orders and bravely torched the Korans!

Any elected official that agrees with this, will be committing treason!

More Californians have been killed in the conflict than Italians.

California is second greatest in casualties behind the whole country of Britain, in the middle East conflicts commanded by NATO.

Nope, the cowardly NATO is using our soldiers in hopeless deadly missions while they hide in Europe and reap the benefits of the US shouldering ALL the burden.

you ever served with NATO, served with other troops from other countries.served in Afghanistan or Iraq or any other battle zone recently?

I ask because your comments while maybe true I don’t know are also dismissive of the sacrifice others have given in helping us.

Also do you have the stats to show where all these deaths have come from?

If NATO or the US military offers up US soldiers to Shria, that is the end for the US military. Loyality is a two way street or a no way street.

I do not dismiss the sacrifice other country soldiers are making, so please do not misrepresent my words.

It is a fact that the United States is taking an enormously large number of casualties compared to other NATO countries.

Our politicians are very much at fault— they have bought the globalist koolaide and now use our military as a ‘police force’ and let other countries command them. If you care to read about NATO ROE it is emphasized over and over that our military must meet with d****d LAWYERS and explicitly conduct the engagement based on the laws of foreign countries and what the ‘legal’ team says is ‘legitimate’ war fighting.

Its sickening and we are shamed as a country to let this continue, all the while losing the lives of our husbands, sons, wives and daughters in that miserable country.

I take this news organization with a grain of salt, but they have compiled a couple of casualty lists for middle eastern conflicts.

Oh I don't think so.

And FYI, here is the ROE handbook for NATO. Observe the emphasis placed on lawyers in their rule making.

If there ever was a corporatist globalist war making effort, this has to be it.

Having been with NATO and served with other armies and Marines then I have the up most respect for those serving and helping us in our war however as for NATO.

IMHO It is not needed, nor should we be dictated too off them.

NATO should not have been used for there, nor should it have been for Libya which do not even get me started on that.

Met some great guys from other countries over there and they have helped us out a lot, the Brits and Aussies are truly pro’s.

Totally.

If you get the chance you should look at the NATO ROE handbook. It's shocking.

I do not seem to find any inclination on the part of these people to even vilify the murderers who "retaliated" against the burning. Let alone the means to bring THEM to any sort of justice.

We are being brainwashed- at least some of us. Damn them and this includes those on our side, expressing some sort of politically correct driven "outrage".

Robert Spencer: “Will Obama Behead the Qur’an-Burners?”

http://atlasshrugs2000.typepad.com/atlas_shrugs/2012/02/robert-spencer-will-obama-behead-the-quran-burners-.html

I wonder what will happen, if whichever people are turned over to Afghans? What if women are turned over to Karzai?

We are being GROOMED.
