It is generally said that McCain was born in the Canal Zone, where his father was on military duty.

But he wasn’t. He was born in a Panamanian hospital in Panama.

Nothing wrong with that. He is still a U.S. citizen, and there was nothing dishonorable about his birth. BUT. It is doubtful whether he is a Natural Born Citizen under the meaning of the term understood by the Founding Fathers. Again, nothing wrong with that. He qualified for just about everything—EXCEPT to run as President. Well, not every American can be President, anyway. There are plenty of other useful things to do.

It was good of his mother to stick by his father in Panama. But if they were really concerned about their son becoming a future President, then she should have had him at a hospital in the Canal Zone, or flown back to the U.S. for a month or two.

It seems extremely likely that McCain was chosen deliberately, to set a precedent. Then congress passed a resolution saying, “OK, McCain qualifies.” Only problem is, he didn’t, and Congress has no license to violate the constitution. Why did they do that, with numerous Democrats jumping eagerly on board? Could it be that they had someone named Obama in the backs of their minds? Could it be that Soros was giving the orders?

They didn’t want to put Hussein up for a vote, because evidently he is unable to produce a real birth certificate. So they put McCain up, instead.

“He was also not the only POW nor was he particularly more courageous than the other POWs”

Except for the fact that he might have been the ONLY one there by choice. The more I learn about mccain and his early career, the more convinced I am that he either allowed himslf to be shot down, or he delibrately crashed his own plane...as he had done twice before to get himself kicked out of the military, (among other things.) His father’s position kept him in and he resented his father beyond belief.

I know for a fact that mccain lied about his time as a POW. I know that he stole other POW’s acts of valor and attributed them to himself. For instance, his shoulder injury was not the result of torture. It was/is the result of having broken his collarbone and other bones when he crashed and the lack of VIP medical care.

Since then, mccain has never met a war he didn’t like as long as it wsn’t him fighting in it. I believe he despises the miltary.

Maverick fits perfectly if it refers to bull-headed with a brain the size of a pea.

Let’s see...

Twice in my lifetime Republican Presidential candidates chose not to create a Constitutional crises over demonstrated voter fraud.

In the 1960 race (Kennedy vs Nixon) Nixon had enough proof to prove a significant number of Kennedy votes in Illinois to be fraudulent. If I remember correctly the numbers were sufficient in Chicago alone to move the state totals into the Republican column. Nixon decided NOT to create a Constitutional crises.

Now John McCain in 2008 - 48 years later.

But democrats have no problems creating Constitutional crises over votes when they lose. Nor to they have problems lying about the reasons behind the Supreme Court's findings.

With over a million dead names still on voter lists nation wide I have to wonder about the 2012 elections.

Though his mother said he was born in the base hospital and not in a Panamanian hospital.

One of the problems I have had with McCain over the years, is that he proved countless times he was willing to make that one statement that would short circuit reasoned policy.

Even when he ran against Obama, he couldn’t resist saying, “The American public has no reason to fear an Obama Presidency.”

At other times he made comments that short circuited moves to deny Leftist presidents their SCOTUS nominees. It took him more than 25 years to get up the gumption to vote against one. He voted FOR some of the worst of the worst.

When it came to Guantanamo, it was John McCain who short circuited objections to closing the Terrorist Detention Center at Guantanamo Bay. It was John who nearly helped to force all these detainees to be moved to the mainland.

John is your classic Leftist enabler. It was him that sold out our MIA people, thumbing his nose at their families, and the Veteran groups.

After Bush beat out John for the nomination in 2000, John decided to go on the Talking Head shows and destroy his ability to get anything done. I have been very critical of Bush, but some of his policy instincts were reasoned. More often than not over his first term, there was John McCain being the Maverick, killing any chance of momentum.

And then I found out, John had actually joined George Soros, Teressa Heinz Kerry and the Tides Foundation to form a 401c(3) org, which he quickly moved in his top campaign workers into for six figure salaries.

He was pleased to join, Kennedy, Kerry, Feingold, and other Democrats to introduce legislation very detrimental to the United States. He introduced detrimental Leftist climate change legislation with Lieberman three times.

All that being said, Romney is the last guy I want to see nominated this year. I would term him worse than McCain, but after looking at McCain, it’s evident he has sold us out on just about every issue you can think of over the years.

Even when it comes to abortion, McCain was pleased to back some people for election that backed abortion over those who didn’t. Overall I think McCain is much better on the topic, but he has never been above selling us out if it suited him.

He didn’t get that “Maverick” title by agreeing with Republicans and Conservatives all the time. He was the darling of the media for doing just the opposite.

Now, is Mitt Romney another despicable candidate for the nomination? I agree that he is. I am not personally convinced he’s worse, but I can understand some folks coming to that conclusion.

The take-away for me is, that neither of them should be anywhere near the presidency.

Although I think it’s a fraud, Romney at least has the good sense to claim to be a Conservative. That’s something McCain would never do. He has made disparaging remarks about Conservatives numerous times.

It wouldn’t surprise me at all if Romney had done the same thing at some point in time though.

He certainly wasn’t bashful about introducing his RomneyCare bill in Ma., much to Ted Kennedy and company’s delight.

If I were to evaluate one of these man against the other, it would be a tough call for me. I would definitely be backing a third person as long as I could.

When asked to vote for McCain in 2008, I couldn’t do it. If Romney is the candidate in 2012, it will be the second election in a row, where the nation could not win no matter which candidate was selected. On way or the other, the nation takes a massive hit.

Your post #65—Spot on. What’s been done about it? It will happen over and over unless something is done. My feeling is there was alot of “funny business” going on in Iowa, Wisconsin, Missouri and Indiana in 2008. The Illinois vote machine has long tentacles......

Based on his unwillingness to take on Obama with any vigor, I'm convinced McCain never desired to win that election in the first place.

Yep...but something happened in New England when McBain claimed he got his "second wind"....and the other candidates started falling off the map. When that happened I said then...The fix is in....and it was for Obama to win.

I would not be surprised if we see this again if Santorum wins....Newt, they can't manipulate but Santorum is set on his career ambitions...he'll play whatever game that will bring him the best advancement possible...even loosing so Obama wins.

Go Newt Go!!!!!!

You know how confident BO has been lately that he’ll have five more years........They stole the election once and got away with it and are planning on repeating the actions again.

With McBains help let's add.

But your right I think to be concerned how OBBO is going to play his hand.....the economy is being "reported" to be picking up...a plus for OBBO...and if he starts a war no setting Pres. is voted out at times as that. Not to mention he's now playing the race card as well...so anyone drinking off the govvernment is going to vote for him.

Chicago politics are in play too..and let's not forget the huge revenues he's getting from the International Muslim Leaders...they love the guy!! Coupled with their investments in media and owners of....it's going to take Gods hand to win this out of Obamas hands...they will pull out all the stops this time around.

I’ve known about his POW time for quite a while now. I had the opportunity to talk with some former POWs years ago who didn’t exactly have fond memories to relate about mclame and his time as a POW. I also read some interviews by some who went through aviation training with him and several who were assigned to the same unit as he was. They all say that if it were not for his father/grandfather that he would have never made it through flight training much less the numerous crashes and near-crash incidents he incurred. One indicated that there was a pool about how many missions he would fly before being shot down.

If this is true/accurate it shows at least two things about McCain. 1) He had no sense of what an Obama winning meant for the USA short term and long term: 2)He was/is a poor judge of the spirit and exceptionalism of patriotic citizens and their spirit for our Constitution.

“Ponder this photo.”.....

He doesn’t appear to be very engaged.....Is looking through her.....Aside from that, it’s a PATHETIC example of a first couple to represent The United States Of America.....We are in SEVERE trouble....If he loses this election the race relations will become even more violent......And he is playing it that way....Do his white partners in crime see the writing on the wall?......I guess they feel buffered with their position and wealth......

Take out the fraud votes and McCain won and with McCain not eligible Palin would be president right now.

Very true, he was born in Panama because his father was a military officer stationed in the Canal Zone. He is still an American citizen by birth.
////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////

Yes he was a US citizen at birth but .... and it’s a big but, is he a natural born citizen?

There are suddenly to many candidates who are questionably qualified for the office of president to be only coincidence.

How many elections are you going to run away from, turning over unelected power to the communists, before you cry uncle and face their thugs?

I think one is too many because their thugs only grow stronger.

I am not surprised McBackstabber ran from the communists (like Bohner is doing with Fast and Furious) and I am not surprised Juan had Bush stabbing him in his back. This is the way rinos operate. It’s why they have a permanent minority party when they are in control. They ride on honor of the past and have no loyality to the Constitutional Republic as they consider themselves citizens of the world now and the law unto themselves.

I’ve known in my gut that the vote was 53-47% OUR WAY since election night ‘08, omitting fraud.

My only consolation has been the Commies believed their own bullshit and went full-bore implementing it to the education of Americans who’d either forgotten or never learned what Socialism does to a country.

November 2010 is proof that America DID ‘learn’ its lesson.

My God, is all I can say. Then when you read ALL of the memo at the original site and find that the GOP elite did not like McCain and that Karl Rove wanted someone in the WH that could be pushed around, yikes!

And, of course, Sarah Palin not being allowed to campaign in places where she was really liked. No surprise to me why Karl Rove dissed her so much in the past.

Makes me sick to my stomach. Disgusting.
