Several of my friends have been discussing the Fluke issue, and the larger issue of the entire Mandate. It's flamingly obvious that this is to get the discussion away from the economy in general, and gas prices in particular.
And THEN a friend had the idea: USE it to turn the talk back to the Economy:
How bad is the economy when a young woman can’t even afford the price of a condom?
or
This poor young woman can’t afford to pay for her own birth control. Four years ago, she could have. . . .
Any better ideas ??

I like it. The problem isn’t that it is so hard to craft a winning message/response, the problem is getting our people to focus and stay on that message. To be fair, they do have to put up with an entire MSM/entertainment establishment trying to trip them up - and because we are in a primary season our own people are trying to trip one another up as well.
But yeah, I like your counter message, “before Obama, women used to be able to afford their own contraception without government help”.
How to diffuse it is to simply say....if this is your biggest worry then you are beyond help.....
Then we can ask her the questions that will destroy Obama.
Why in the hell do you want to defuse the demorats getting caught at fraudulent behavior?
Why defuse this? It’s killing the Democrats and the radical left. That’s why they are screaming bloody murder. Keep it going! We’ve turned the tables on them. Keep the story alive for weeks if possible. Go, Rush, Go!
The way to defuse it is to dismiss it as a phony issue intended to distract from Obama’s attack on the civil right of freedom of religion.
There is nothing to DEFUSE from our side. The RATs tried to light up a victory-winning cigar and it EXPLODED nationally right before their lame-ass sorry eyes, so much so, that they had to THROW whatever is left of the ‘prestige’ of the PRESIDENT of the UNITED STATES with a full frontal PHOTO of him calling this contraceptive-addicted 30 yr old ‘student’ to offer her his ‘support’. He should’ve just as easily sent her some free condoms.
Why dismiss it? This is major democrat overreaching..
you are correct. Bill Clinton as President got into with Rush and paid dearly for it. Obama was a fool for getting involved in this matter.

What we should be asking is how it was fine to attack Sarah Palin with such vile statements, but now be outraged when Limbaugh says a bad word toward one of their own.
THIS is what the Obama administration is working on? Is THIS the most pressing issue of the day? Hell no it is not pressing -- in fact -- access to BC pills and condoms is not even a problem!

They’re using this to energize women by casting conservatives as women-haters. They figure that this scandal will take attention away from high gas prices, inflation, and high unemployment.
Rush should offer free advertising to SleepTrain’s competitor, and hit that $hit like dub-step, just repeating it and repeating the message, “buy SleepTrain’s competitor...”
And he should keep the focus on hiiiiiiiigh gas prices, etc.
