Wow. I have a friend who was carried for a half-mile by a tornado as a child, but 10 miles is amazing.

God watches over drunks and little babies!

I hope that the rest of her family is okay. And yes - what a miracle!

How they figured out whose baby it was, must be another wonder.

You live in Oklahoma? A similar thing happened here during the May 3rd tornado.

Is this the same baby?

Washington County Sheriff Claude Combs told ABC News that the girl, who is believed to be 3 or 4 years old, was discovered near the bodies of her 21-year-old mother and two younger siblings, ages 2 years and 2 months old.

I can only imagine the sheer joy of this baby’s family, assuming they survived the storm. And I hope the baby makes it through the injuries she sustained.

Given the accuracy of reporter, a 3-year-old next to three dead people is the same as a baby alone ten miles from home.

"Though the schools were almost completely destroyed, no injuries to either students or staff were reported."

That is just amazing, considering the damage to those communities! God Bless that woman who allowed the kids on that bus to shelter in her basement!

The parents will probably be arrested and lose custody. Zero tolerance!

Thank God for sparing the life of the baby.
As for the bus incidents, I’ve never understood evacuating children into a storm. Their parents may not even have been at home. The vehicles certainly weren’t safe. I saw what happened to the school— not a good option either unless they had secure shelter areas.
