You know there is some powerful people when they can get Rush to apologize. My wife said he would. He said he wouldn’t.

Here’s what Rush really meant to say: I apologize Miss Fluke for calling you a slut. I really meant to say whore.

I guess Rush doesn’t realize that when you apologize to these marxists they’ll only come after you more. I’m amazed he doesn’t know this.

It was reported that he was losing sponsors on Friday PM. Maybe there were enough of them to force him...

The panel now regularly features some FAR LEFT moonbat (Lane) from (what else?) the Wa [Com]Post who tore Rush a new one last night along with some Lib Babe (don't know and don't care who she is but she is also now a regular) who also disparaged Limbaugh, as well as the token Conservative, none other than RINO Fred Barnes who waffled and equivocated.

I thought that what he was going to say in his “apology”, until I actually read it. But it seems to me that he DID apologize. I just can’t find the “Rush-Sarcasm” everyone is saying is there...

I know I piss people off when I say this but I’m afraid it’s too late to do anything. And that’s why the republicans go to DC to cash in just like the rest of them. They get to Washington and learn that it’s too late. They talk a good game but have drinks with their “friends on the other side of the aisle” every night. And we’ve allowed this to go for too long. They’ve been trying to take America down for 50 years. And they’ve done it a little at a time. They’re almost finished.
What I’d like to know is how do they expect all of this to go down? Do they truly believe earth can be a utopia? Whatever happens I’m just glad my time on earth is almost over. I got to enjoy America when it was America, home of the free.
This just proves that whoever controls the news media WINS. I'll go off on a tangent here but 'Carbonite' is making a HUGE mistake from a marketing standpoint. They will see the older demographic abandon them in droves over their harsh critique of Rush and possibly pulling their advertising. Who uses Carbonite anyway? Just buy a high-capacity external hard drive and backup your stuff while at the same time keeping it truly private by not having it on Carbonite's server. It's as simple as that!

So, you KNOW none of the big elites wouldn’t want to be seen with him. I’d bet some elite GOP’ers called him and told him if he didn’t apologize they could no longer be associated with him. Again, were are the principles? They’re hidden somewhere in that stack of cash and on the cocktail circuit.
Now they’ll come after him full speed. One more little oxy episode and he’s off to prison. And when the radio show is gone so will all of his elite friends in the GOP.

Obama WANTS this election to be about contraception, Rush calling someone a slut, ANYTHING but his failed legacy. As of late, Obama has been successful in diverting the debate away from his record.
I think Rush belatedly realized the gambit going on here and decided to eat some crow for the team. And I am not a dittohead in the least, I don't listen to Rush. But this election HAS to be primarily about porkulus, deficits, energy policy and failed government-backed initiatives.
I am not saying ignore social issues, just don't allow Obama to deflect using such. Recognize a trap being set and don't step in it.
