“I think the projection is Mittens in VT, VA, and MA; Newt in GA, and Santorum in OK and TN, with only OH in question, but leans Romney. Romney could knock out both Gingrich and Santorum next Tuesday. Had TX had the March 6 primary as originally planned, everthing might have come out differently. But I don’t think Perry can hold TX for Gingrich, now having to wait until May 29.”

Too true, and people here are worried about Newt getting his 10 percent and staying in.

If Newt + Santorum get killed on Tuesday, then all the Newt folks get Romney.

And then you’ll be lamenting as to why Conservatives never win. Hey you folks have an opportunity to get one in, but Tuesday is your last chance.

I’m still looking in the Constitution whereby we the people select the President and Vice President candidate in this primary/caucus scenerio?

Buckeyes follow the lead of Wolverines when it comes to getting noticed in politics. The Saturday poll showed Santorum ahead of Mittens by 1 point, but it is not expected to stand.

“Someone explains that to me, because I don’t get it”

You have to face facts. The vast majority of Republicans attending these things, and who will be voting in November are not posting on Free Republic or other Conservative forums, so the mistake we make is thinking they are going to vote in line with a poll taken here on FR, which would pretty much be split between Newt and Santorum. The typical Republican voter does not read and post on political forums, they don’t read right wing blogs each day, and they don’t even consider themselves political junkies like most of us do. They don’t do the things we have done that influenced us becoming more, not less conservative. So why are we shocked when the outcome does not make sense?

What do you mean Santorum voters were NOT allowed to enter to vote? I’m honestly curious.

Nobody will convince me any of our candidates will be worse than Obama. I voted today at my caucus for somebody maybe you will approve of, but come November I don’t give a GD who our candidate is, I will be voting for him, to send that disrespectful America hating A-hole back to Chicago.

That is the Prime Directive.

What is wrong with these damn people!

Didn’t they hear Romney tonight say that Obama was certainly a big part of the problem, the reason for unemployment. Not THE problem but a part of it. He’s already starting McCain speak of Obama’s not so bad. I don’t think he even wants to beat Obama.

Washington state is 7% Mormon. That explains the margin.

McCain carried 22 states in the general election. Willard the liberal has been strongest in the primaries in states that Obama will carry in the fall.

It’s true. We have too much evidence of newt’s inconsistencies. We are greatly tempted by his intelligence and ideas, but scared off by his needy behaviors. Santorum for us is trustworthy and solid as a person.

This is a lib state. I call Seattle, “San Francisco North”.

It has always been my impression that even a good many of the republicans here, are actually libs.

I live in this sorry state, but fortunately, I live in the sticks and on a mountain in a rural county that is a good 3 hour drive west of Seattle, so I don’t have to deal with those queers and queer lovers. Other than required trips to a quality hospital, I seldom go to Seattle. If I didn’t already own my home, I would have already moved out of this gay state.

Obama will win this state without breaking a sweat.
