Police in Kansas City are investigating a possible hate crime after a 13-year-old boy was doused in gasoline and set on fire. According to Allen Goin’s mother, the attack occurred just as her son was getting home from school. She said, “They rushed him on the porch as he tried to get the door open…one of them poured gasoline, then flicked the Bic and said, ‘This is what you deserve. You get what you deserve white boy.’”

I am strongly against crimes labeled as “hate” crimes, no matter which race is on the receiving end. Prosecute the crime, not the thoughts in the mind when the crime is committed.

“Hate Crimes” aren’t really about hate or crime or justice but more of a “politically correct” pronouncement that is paving the way for “thought crimes.”

The Daily News version has tons of comments--many of them very anti-white (minimizing the harm suffered by the 13-year-old as nothing worse than a sunburn, or claiming he set himself on fire and made up the story of being attacked)...many very unwilling to accept the story as genuine.
I agree!...I’m guessing its just plain crime if you set anybody on fire, but then again that’s just me.
