"That’s the trouble with Romney’s pledge: If he’s unwilling to unmask the president for who and what he is, he doesn’t stand a chance in November. "

I agree.

So, the RINO leftist thinks that despite his ideological pal Barry Hussein EXPLICITLY stating he wants higher gas prices, his Energy secretary ADMITTING high gas prices is POLICY, and Barry Hussein ADMITTING his policies mean electricity rates will NECESSARILY SKYROCKET , it`s not his fault !?

TOAST !

This is precisely why I will not be able to bring myself to vote for this man. He is not an instinctive conservative. His initial impulse is to “reach across the aisle.” Guess what, every time you do that you get back a hand covered in sh*t, enough already...

“I think people recognize that the president can’t precisely set the price at the pump,” Romney said in an interview on CNBC.

We are toast if this man becomes POTUS OR 0bama gets reelected.

With 0bama at least he is professed as being a member of the party of jackasses, Romney is attempting to be an impostor of one who isn't but still is a jackass.

So we may have a choice of a jackass or a donkey come November.

WTF is wrong with this guy? Just when I start thinking I may have to warm to reality, this idiot snaps me back to true reality. If it becomes mitt vs zero, mitt will be reciting the Queensberry rules while zero hits him about the head and face with garbage can covers and 2 x 4’s

This guy has a total tin ear when it comes to politics. He’s done less with more than any politician in recent memory.

Romney hasn’t been a Conservative long enough to understand Conservative principles.

But you would think he would understand basic supply & demand.

Mitt Romney: It’s not like the president can “precisely set the price at the pump”

Dear Mitt,

True but irrelevant sophistry.
You don't need to parrot the Idiot-in-chief.

We can all agree than when he said, without prompting, that his policies would necessarily mean energy prices woud skyrocket, that our most abundant producer of energy, coal, would be shut down, that no new drilling would be allowed Where the oil is known to exist and the gas pipeline from Canada would not be allowed to be built, then...

Yeah, an ignorant incompetent president can have a prolonged inevitable negative effect on the price of gasoline at the pump.

You really still feel competent to run for president?

I’ve heard Romney attack Obama on the price of gas and energy policy in every speech. I know most people here don’t actually listen to his speeches but having done so, taking this sentence out of context is just silly. He attacks Obama on this all the time. The statement that he doesn’t claim Obama sets the precise price is not controversial.

There was an episode of The Simpsons back in ‘96 where Clinton and Dole were replaced by alien look-alikes. They held hands throughout the campaign and praised one another while hectoring the voters. Sounds a lot like Obummer and Romney.

Actually, here is what Romney said in its entirety:
http://thehill.com/video/campaign/214641-romney-obama-cant-set-the-price-at-the-pump

Still, Romney bashed the president for an energy policy that he says has contributed to an energy shortage. He said Obama should do more to open up areas to drilling, including in the Arctic National Wildlife Refuge (ANWR) in Alaska. He also criticized administration regulations.

“[President Obama] can decide how much money for oil and gas is going to other nations, and to get that money here and to create jobs here and to stabilize prices here,” Romney said. “He ought to be taking advantage of all of our offshore, and ANWR, and North Dakota and Oklahoma and Texas gas resources instead of trying to hold them off. Natural gas is a huge win for us and through the EPA he’s been trying to hold that off.”

Romney’s lack of experience as a politician keeps on showing up in these gaffes. If he gets the nomination, I hope he spends some time cleaning up the way he says things.

Watch for Romney to tell us: “You don’t have to be afraid to have Obama in the White House.”

I may hate myself in November, especially if obama is re-elected, but I'm not voting for Romney, not in the primary and not in November.

Romney appears to be taking a page (or three) from the McCain 2008 playbook. Yeesh.

Of course, picking Sarah Palin as VP would be the one useful page from the playbook the he “O-Mitts”.
