Censorship: The pressure on Rush Limbaugh's advertisers is from a group that meets regularly with the White House and runs an Obama Super-PAC funded by unions.
The group Media Matters acts like a lobbyist but is not registered as one. It operates in the shadows, outside congressional oversight and unaccountable to voters.
This makes its collusion with the White House in the heat of a presidential race a serious matter worthy of investigation.
Targeting Limbaugh, a staunch Republican, is no coincidence. If the Obama campaign can silence him, it can knock out the party's most powerful voice for firing up its base and getting out the vote. Limbaugh has a huge Tea Party following.
The White House's attack dog, Media Matters, has been intimidating private businesses into dropping their ads on Limbaugh's popular radio show. It boasts of scaring off 45 of his advertisers since launching its drive last week, when Limbaugh apologized for using sexist terms to criticize a college coed called by Democrats to testify in support of ObamaCare's coverage of birth control.
Media Matters keeps a death watch on its website. It lists those Limbaugh advertisers who have canceled, then identifies sponsors still airing ads making it clear to Occupy Wall Street and Acorn thugs which business they still need to threaten.
"Limbaugh remains in professional free fall," Washington-based Media Matters gloated Wednesday on its site. It promises its campaign will "alter," if not end, his career behind the mike.
It's not exactly an idle threat. Media Matters reportedly got conservative host Glenn Beck fired at Fox News as retribution for Beck exposing the radical Marxist views and activities of White House aide Van Jones.

It’s time to take Media Matters out.
Lets say it is 45, which it is not but lets give it to them, that’s out of 18,000.
Hyperbole. The language of fools.
IBD is parroting Media Matters’ propaganda which Rush debunked quite completely today.
They can knock out Rush and they can knock out Andrew Breitbart, but nothing they can do can make me stop hating them.
Free fall? In orbit?
This deserves a huge
BTTP
I thought this would be about how Bo, the water dog, peed on some visiting carbonite execs.

“With our liberty and way of life in peril, the Media Research Center, the nations largest and most respected liberal media watchdog, is boldly moving forward to confront and defeat the unholy alliance between President Obama and the liberal media and demand objectivity and balance in news reporting.
In the weeks and months ahead, the MRC will leverage its formidable media resources and proactive grassroots members to expose and neutralize President Obamas stranglehold on the liberal media.”
They had one of the Media Matters big-wigs today on KSCO 1180 AM “What’s Left” show —the one lefty show they keep, on principle— and he was lying his a$$ off about how the # of sponsors who have dropped off from Rush’s show is FIFTY.
It was completely amazing, how this guy lied for nearly one full hour, lie after lie.
The Mau-Mauing and threats continue..
I do honestly believe that the 1960s Marxist-Alinsky campus spoiled brats and their ideological issue now have their own Establishment and are serious about their decades-old intent to secede from and destroy the Constitutional republic and its social contract, freedoms and inalienable rights. Another Democrat civil war?
Rush’s audience is whom purchases the products. I don’t see such a big deal here.
they had a lib radio station near me and every week they give a couple hours to a black liberation theologian who mixes religious invective with his supposed expert knowledge on how GWB was one of the Illuminati and they ordered him to blow the WTC up
even though they got a kiss of stimulus they went bankrupt last year and the new owners changed their format to all headbanger music...i was happy...i was thinking bad thoughts before, something about n1trome+h@ne plus @mmon1um n1+r@+e and yelling “timmberrr!” as their radio tower came crashing down
but now i just think of sunsets and puppies and kittens...and practice my “innocent look” :^)
I assume the standard dress code at Media Matters includes a Brown Shirt and Jack Boots.
And nobody considers it scandal.
It can’t be brown boots and a jack shirt, can it?
Pretty much. Except on weekends.
That’s right. If anyone really wants to get Rush’s perspective on what is being attempted, LISTEN to his radio show daily. Rush confirmed that the LEFT LIES, WOULDN’T YOU KNOW! Rush is the best source for all things happening to Rush. All other sources, DEFINITELY no so much.
