'Whats this?' said Frodo, almost laughing.

'This is what it is , Mr. Baggins,' said the leader of the Shirriffs: 'You're arrested for Gate-breaking, Tearing up Rules, Assulting Gate-keepers, Trespassing, Staying in Shire-buildings without Leave, Bribing Guards.'

'And what else?' said Frodo.

'That'll do for now,' said the Shirriff-leader.

"I can add more, if you'd like it,' said Sam. 'Calling your Chief Names, Wishing to punch his Pimply Face, and Thinking you Shirriffs look like Tom-fools.'

Looks like they put a couple of hundred LEOs on the case to dredge up some evidence of jaywalking, littering & whatnot so they could "prove" that the guy they offed was "guilty".

williamedwardwallace is here to spread the glad news. "The King's Men are innocent! Huzzah!"

George III could only dream about having our current police forces at his disposal during the runup to the "troubles" in 1776...

They probably spent a hundred grand on the follow-up investigation.

He was “squeaky” clean... I guess that is why he was targeted for elimination.... yeah, that’s the ticket.... shaky warrant based upon a drug users word, we still do not know what was in the warrant, or the judge that signed it, and the cops are just spilling out all information pertaining to this killing, righhhhttt....

He wasn’t murdered.

Nope he was executed by ignorance.

Can you not see the insanity of this type of SWAT Operation? And do not forget the idiot Sheriff Dipstick (Dupnick), political hack.

“so, this clean former soldier was shot and killed because members of his wifes family sold..... pot??????”

They were cutting into the sales of the SWAT teams market.

Be sure to include the wife since you are slandering her and her late husband who was murdered by the corrupt and incompetent police.

I bet you don't get a single supporting comment on this thread. You picked the wrong place to post this.

This article and the arrest is an attempt by Sheriff Dipstick (Dupnick) to cover his A$$ and to give them a chance to prevail in the lawsuit by his widow for their negligence, and the killing of her husband.

There is NO justification for this type of SWAT attack. The militarization of the Police is an extremely dangerous trend.

Dupnick will eventually be removed as Sheriff. The County and those involved will loose the lawsuit against them. Hope fully this type of insanity will stop.

Remember, Sheriff Dipstick is the guy who blamed Congressman Gilford’s shooting (and the murder of the Judge) on the Tea Party. (again without a shred of evidence)

What? Do you mean in an echo chamber of “sovereigns” and libertarian wackos who hate the police?

So should the sheriff, it might help his incompetence problem.

So what crime was the dead guy convicted of?

Why do you support summary executions?

Since you're so helpful, why don't you submit an FOIA request on how much they spent on the follow-up investigation?

If not, shuttenzeeupennen, Stasi-boy.

What you think the law is, and what the law is, are two different things.

If someone points a gun at you, and you shoot them, have you summarily executed them? What crime have they been convicted of?

Your talking point reveals your insanity.

Do you find it interesting that an enabler is on Free Republic basically threatening people with prosecution for voicing their opinions on this?
