Although I’d like it to live on, I’m under the impression this whole Fluke thing has pretty much run its 15 minutes.

The social media thing seems to have a very short memory and be very fickle.

If this goes all out on Rush, I say the Pubbies need to start a boycott of their own and they can get real pissed if pushed!

All they’ve managed to do is pick off a handful of clients who were quickly replaced, and get him pulled from two small radio stations in liberal markets.

Granted that’s as much damage has anyone has been able to do to Rush.

With an alternative like Huckabee, a focused boycott aiming at the wallet, and social media connections to facilitate it all, Limbaugh may not be able to weather this storm.

HUCKABEE!!?? As a replacement for Rush? Oh for cryin' out loud, what an idiot. This statement alone pretty much invalidates whatever else this person has to say. But, just for kicks: Point #2, the 'focused boycott'. The Left whines, screams, threatens a boycott ... and advertisers cave. Then they find out when their revenues and/or businesses tank that the Left wasn't much buying their goods and services anyway .... but the Rush fans were. Thus the 'begging' to come back. Point #3 - as for the social media, it works both ways ... Rush fans twitter, FB, & blog as well ... we just don't foam at the mouth while we're doing it and the LSM tends to be attracted to those that are publicly foaming, drooling, spitting, hissing and even defecating (think OWS).

That’s what we need a ‘conservative’ who won’t critize obama on the radio, that’s what the romney campaign will be like. What will huckabee do when jane fonda calls him sexist? will he beg for her forgiveness?

Didn’t o’reiley try directly competing with RUSH? It sure would be nice to have so much money that you can fund a radio show to go up againest the #1 radio host of ALL TIME. I bet the show doesn’t get 100 stations, gaurantee nobody who carries Rush will switch, and the show won’t last 3 years.

Rush is having a ball lording things over the Flukists today.

He Fluked them a couple of weeks ago.

He’s having fun Fluking them today.

They are so easily Fluked - given the dim-wits that seem to be placed as lib examples.

I’m glad we have Fluke-ees out there so we can never forget how good it is to watch a solid Fluking.

It is truly a bad thing when you mix cocaine, crack and ecstasy and then bed some hairy-pitted Democrat gal/guy and then try to think logically. There is more truth in this dweeb’s delusion of his relevancy in this world than some wet dream about Rush getting hammered....honestly, I get better sense out of my youngest grand daughter (2.5 YO)...

The Stalinist’s would love to detroy Rush.

Rush single handedly revived the conservative movement in the late 80’s/early 90’s in my opinion.
They know it.

The real scary part of this article is the completely ignorant comments made by the leftists at the end. And to think, these idiots vote. We’re doomed.

"Such was the case when he accused Michael J. Fox of faking his Parkinson’s Disease symptoms..."

I don't recall Rush saying that Fox faked his symptoms. I thought he said that Fox had discontinued using, or reduced his meds to enhance his symptoms prior to his appearance before a Congressional Hearing. Can someone tell me if my memory is right or wrong on this one?

Mike Huckabee ,,,, He is launching a new radio show in Limbaugh’s time slot. His motto is: Less Confrontation. More Conversation.

Huckabee will do ok on The Snake Oil Network.

Did this guy really just suggest that Mike Huckabee is a competitor to Rush Limbaugh?

Gee you would think that Air America with it’s leftist slant would have attracted a huge national audience, lots of sponsors and competed head to head with Rush instead of having no audience and going broke. Why just look at the huge number of viewers of MSNBC and wonder when they are going to crowd Fox News off the air. Truth is when given a choice most people pick more conservative media as their source of information and will turn away from media they see as not in step with their beliefs. The only way left wing media can succeed is to have no other choices available. Of course liberal will say that the only reason people will listen to Rush is that they are complete idiots who are smart or hip enough to listen to NPR, read the NY Times or find Bill Maher to be enlightening.

When he made the comments he told Snerdly that this would be bigger than the phony soldier uproar.

He knew what was coming.

My theory is that he did it as a way to increase his audience. It worked.
