Panetta won't meet with soldier unless they lock up their guns first

I will give you a summery of what is being reported by ELISABETH BUMILLER in the NYT this morning.

Panetta made a surprise visit to Afghanistan yesterday. Before he would meet with the soldiers they were ordered to place their weapons outside tent and return unarmed.

This reminds me a story my late uncle told me. He was an Army MP in Thailand during the Vietnam war. He told me when President LBJ visited their base, the MP’s were all given unloaded guns to pose with while he was speaking to the troops. Only the Secret Service were allowed to be armed in LBJ’s presence.

Since when are our leaders afraid of their own troops?

Since the Obama Administration was installed. And with good reason.

Obama and his backers are on the OPFOR side.

Democrat Presidents, beginning with only Clinton, required that we lock up all the weapons on post in the Arms Rooms, accounting for weapons and ammo. Now we have another administration belonging to the next democrat president, Obama, with the same fobia of the military. Presidents who screw the troops are afraid to be around them, and it is only prudent from a liberals thinking. Only their security detachments will have weapons.

The best time in the world to attack a US military installation for any reason is when a Democrat President or members of his administration are at the base.... Republican presidents have never stowed the arms, since they support the troops.

Actually, according to major media, both Panetta and (Hillary) Clinton have vigorously opposed certain Obama policies. It wish fairly recent article(s). I wish I could remember what it was about, but I was (somewhat) impressed. It also made Obama look all the more outside the mainstream, which isn’t hard to do.

Anytime you have a mixed group of friendlies and locals meeting a friendly VIP, the friendlies disarm to prevent locals, whom may not be vetted, from disarming a friendly and attacking the VIP.

The reporter is anti-military and attempting to show that friendlies cannot be trusted and are unstable.

Both Obama and Paneta should stay completely away from American troops. They are not fit to be in the presence of our great American soldiers. I would not want my children or grandchildren to enter the military if it meant serving under these men.
