CHICAGO Mitt Romney, in his bid to retake the momentum in the Republican primary from Rick Santorum with a win next week in Illinois, arrives in Chicago on Friday. But the citys mayor and former White House chief of staff Rahm Emanuel - couldnt wait to rip into the GOP front-runner, saying Romney lacked the fortitude, strength or character to serve in the Oval Office.
Now Im not going to give advice to Republicans. They dont take it and I dont want to give it. Theyll make whatever decision they want to make, Emanuel said at an event Thursday morning in Chicago. You just take a look at the fortitude, the strength, the determination and the vision the president made on the auto industry and juxtapose it to Mitt Romney, who doesnt have the fortitude, the strength or the character in my view to stand up to Rush Limbaugh. How can he stand up and make a decision to save 1.3 million manufacturing jobs?

A reporter followed up by pointing out to Emanuel that Bill Maher had made comments that some people found as insulting as Limbaughs. Limbaugh was ripped by liberals for insulting Georgetown law student Sandra Fluke, while Maher has caught flak from conservatives for remarks he made about former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin.
I thought what Rush Limbaugh said was absolutely not only wrong, it was absolutely repulsive, Emanuel said.
That said, if you cant stand up to Rush, how are you going to stand up to Russia? And I just dont see it. Im just telling you, having advised two presidents, and I think Im very fortunate, it takes fortitude in the Oval Office, it takes strength, it takes determination,

Hey RAhm, maybe we should talk a lesson from your better in the WH in standing up to the Ruskies. Poland was no doubt impressed with 0zer0s forceful handling of the missile shield giveaway.
Why not? Rahmney's your boy, Rahm, and the GOPe, your party.
These past couple of weeks have shown that Obama, Biden, Rahm, and dems in general have decided to take a sarcastic, bullying note in their criticism of not just GOP politicians but all Republicans. Plus I’ve been seeing more “anti woman” “war on women” messages and soundbites than ever before. I believe they are going to overplay their hand - the American public just doesn’t like bullies and they want their leaders to be statesmen not snarky.
Rahm Emanuel is Jon Stewart in a tutu.
“O” can’t stamd up to Rush!!!
Romney had better STAND up for Rush, not against him. There should be no bowing to what the 0 administration “suggests.” At last check Romney is not the Dem candidate (though he seems like he wants to be)
This shows how out of phase his sense of right and wrong is.
Rahm and other libs think something as filthy and disgusting as sodomy is not only right, but absolutely praiseworthy. God says (in Leviticus 18:22, Leviticus 20:13) that those who practice such things are worthy of death.
And Romans 1:18-32 documents the progression of the reprobate: "Who knowing the judgment of God, that they which commit such things are worthy of death, not only do the same, but have pleasure in them that do them." (Romans 1:32). That is why they are so hot to introduce this filth earlier and earlier in the government school system.
It's wrong. It's repulsive. It is time to "break down the houses of the sodomites" and cast out all their "priests" who have defiled the land.
Good call. If Obama has stood up to anyone or anything threatening our nation, I missed it.
Yeah, right after Rahm stands up to Sharpton...
Putin KNOWS Barack Obama is a pussy and can have his way with him anytime, anywhere.
This criticism is truly wide of the mark.
But, but, there IS NO Democrat alternative to Obama! So no new narrative is needed!
Right?
Gee, I wonder why Rahm Emanuel would want Romney and Limbaugh to fight while he watches? Which Alinsky rule is applicable in this case?
WTG a picture is worth a thousand words!
Rahmbo sounds like a tin pan alley songwriter here (and not a particularly successful one)
Arnold Rothstein (January 17, 1882 November 5, 1928),[1][2] nicknamed "The Brain", was a New York businessman and gambler who became a famous kingpin of the Jewish mafia. Rothstein was also widely reputed to have been behind baseball's Black Sox Scandal, in which the 1919 World Series was fixed.
At least Rothstein never ran for public office.
Since the current occupant of the White Crib has proven he can’t stand up against the Muslim Brotherhood, al-Qaeda, and the Tahl-ee-bahn, I think he is on thin ice with this line of attack.
"He's just too nice sometimes!"
Eff you Rahm. Eff you Obama.
