When the insurance obligation kicks in, not even two years from now, most people won't need to worry or buy anything new.

When a totalitarian government gives a command that violates the rights of individuals, all decent citizens need to worry. When the various socialist-leaning Europeans violated the rights of Jews in 1900-1945, decent people didn't say, "most people won't need to worry", they condemned the violations of individual freedom and fought to reverse the action. I currently have medical insurance, which I pay for myself and by choice, but that is irrelevant. The Obama government is in direct violation of the Constitution and of the individual rights of those who do not wish to participate in this marketplace. Evil is no less harmful simply because it targets a minority rather than targeting all equally.

This whole discussion is silly. The federal government has already been granted the power to levy taxes, and then it has chosen, contrary to Art. I, Sec. 8, to provide a benefit, determined by law, to the elderly, given certain conditions. The same law has been applied to folks of low income, as well as those who fail to meet standards of aptitude or physical ability, for societal and medical care.

Who would be unable to conceive of leftists simply adding to the medicare slave tax, and providing a benefit to more people? What difference does it make that we are talking about a tax placed on people who don't follow the rules?

What is coming is evil. We will have monies removed from our earnings, not just to fund federal healthcare, but also to fund abortions. This is coming.

That will be completely analogous to assisting in child sacrifice. It won’t be much money, probably only a dollar or two. yet it will be ‘required’ and as noted below, will be taken from wages.

This is completely, one hundred percent against what a Christian should allow for him or herself. It will require you to violate your faith as a child of God.

The point has been reached with this to stand. We need to have the mind of pledging our lives, fortunes to resisting this.

Will we falter to preserve our jobs? 401k’s? Homes? Physical freedom? Perhaps our lives? How far down that road are we willing to say “NO”?

I, for one say, that I hope I can stand before Jesus when that time comes and He’ll say “Well done.”

Or perhaps we’ll falter and feed that child killing machine, trying to explain to our savior, asking Him to understand that we had to somehow keep our home, here, that will ultimately burn anyway.

Polycarp chose martyrdom rather than give a pinch of incense to honor ceasar. Three Hebrew children chose the furnace rather than bow to an idol.

Christians, it is going to get VERY ugly going forward. Pray for this country.

Much will depend on whether the Supreme Court rules on this as a Constitutional matter to be a Court prerogative as they have been prone to do sometimes when given the opportunity or if they abide by the Constitution and see the issue as a matter for Congress to deal with.
