This makes no sense. If the desire is to expose Romney then having Newt hammering him as well (2 against 1) is even better. Hey Rick - why don’t you agree to a one-against-one with Newt and the the loser agrees to drops out. I could live with that. :-)

Yeah, Santos and Mitt din’t want to debate on March 19th either. I think they’re holding out for the proper forum ...a sandbox.

Rick and Mitt canceled out on the March 19th debate that was scheduled in Oregon, also.

I think they’re holding out for a one on one in the proper forum...a sandbox.

I can’t believe Santorum wants to debate Romney after what Romney did to him in Michigan. Reduced him to a whimpering pile of “I took one for the team.” I think Santorum must be throwing a Hail Mary.

In context... Did you cheerfully support McCain 4 years ago?

Sorry for my similar double posts. The grandson is “helping” me type. I thought the first one was erased!

Now I am going for wipes to get the Fig NEWTons out of my keyboard. LOL!

I thought Santorum was against any more debates. Last week his supporters here were all “no more debates”. Now they’re jacked up about debates?

Only debates where Newt Gingrich is not a participant. I suppose Santorum will next be asking specifically for a "Lincoln-Douglas style" debate with Romney, and threatening to follow Romney around until he agrees. That would be novel! < /sarc>

It makes sense that the two front runners should debate each other, but I doubt if Mitt has the courage.

Here’s a bit of what Rick can say about Romney (to Romney):

“Romney insists on trying to destroy Newt Gingrich over the same false, trumped-up ethics charges just like Democrats did. He’s acting exactly like a power hungry Democrat who is willing to say anything to get elected ..”

excerpt http://www.therightscoop.com/new-romney-ad-smears-newt-over-old-ethics-charges/

Romney joins the Dems, with their trumped up charges, even though Newt was vindicated!

..........................................................

“..Norm Coleman, an advisor to Romney, went on record saying
We’re not going to do repeal. You’re not going to repeal Obamacare… It’s not a total repeal…”

“Massachusetts Health Care Reform Has Left Small Business Behind: A Warning to the States

September 17, 2010”

But Romney appreciates your support.

I really think Rick is just mouthing off since Romney’s wife has already said Romney will not do any more debates.

Kinda makes you do a double take when Romney’s wife is the one calling the shots for him.

Don’t know what the weather is like up your way, but down here it looks like a great day to go fishing with Hank!

Won’t be going any further than our pond or the creek behind our house when the grandson gets up from his nap. It’s still fun.

Hope our early spring doesn’t mean a super hot summer.

We are hoping to get to Niagra Falls later this year and then to Vancouver, B.C. a month or so later. We made our second trip to Nova Scotia last year in September. We were on a cruise ship, so we didn’t get to see as much as on the trip before, that was a motorcoach tour.

Lots of beautiful country up there. I particularly love the Canadian Rockies.

I’ve noticed from the currency exchange rate that Canada is doing much better financially as your politics have moved to the right a bit.

What do the folks up there think of our election hoopla?
Is politics as ferocious and frustrating up there as it is here?

No, the damage that was done to Santorum was from Ron Paul, and then Romney doubled down on it, but it was the Arizona debate, not the Michigan one.

Gingrich has since signaled that he would pile on the Paul Romney tag team, though.

A hot summer for you is just right up here!

Glad you enjoy your time up here. So much beauty. Too many socialists. Sigh.

Politics up here isn’t nearly as interesting. Big government is a fact of life here. It’s a done deal. All that’s left is to manage the decay.

Have a great day!

Perhaps you are right. The debate was right before Michigan though right? Geesh I watched it twice, and this whole time I thought it was in Michigan.
