Many still think he`s magical, though. That recent poll that finds 46% still somehow think Bush is to blame after 38 months of Obama is frustrating.
Plus... even though majorities of Americans may disagree with Obama`s policies, many millions still are emotionally bonded to him.
25% think his policies will lower the debt? Good grief.
There seems to be a denial among MANY black Americans on Obama. It’s like they cannot face that their first black POTUS is such an abysmal failure that they would continue to suffer (and they are doing much worse as a racial segment of our population) rather than admit it. Those numbers separated by race category are almost frightening.
It’s sad too.
I should change the caption... for his 2012 campaign poster...
The claim that only white people can be racist is bullshit, and no group {other than Asians} are more racists than American born and raised blacks.
The Chinese have the most racist view of the world, looking down on the {whom also look down on the Chinese} Japanese, Korean and other minor Asian people with zero use for round eyes of any skin tone.
The majority of African born blacks that I've met and worked with cannot understand the amount of time that American blacks spend on skin tone.
IMO much of Obama's personal approval ratings are overstated. People are reluctant to say they dislike him because it would stamp them as racist. In 2008 Obama received 43% of the white vote and McCain received 55%. In 2012, Obama will receive even less than 43%, which will hurt his reelection chances. Bush received 60% of the white vote in 2004. If the Rep nominee receives that percentage or more, he will win.
The drumbeat of Bolshevik Dictator Baby-Doc Barak continues to grow louder - - - .
We've heard that before.. in 2008. Remember all the noise about the "Bradley Effect," which turned out to be much ado about nothing? Many Americans, especially the younger ones, are still hot on him... it's not about policies or results, but emotion. By contrast, I've never heard anyone say unequivocally, "I want Mitt Romney to be my President."
Isn't it simply astounding that a "Hill" news article about a "Hill Poll" resorts to presenting data from two other competing polls because the Hill poll had such bad news for Obama? Things are not well in Foggy Bottom.
Publicly manifesting that degree of delusion got you permanently committed to the insane asylum not long ago.
It’s 1979 again, but the Democrat president is even worse.
I don't know where in VA you live, but Obama is no longer as popular as he was in 2008 with the young and independents. He has a record now--no more hope and change.
Do you think Obama will carry VA in November?
About a 50/50 chance. Obama was leading both Romney and Santorum at last count in the Ras poll.

Very true, but: 1) We have no Reagan this time around; and 2) The electorate is drastically dumbed-down by comparison to 1979.
These polls are more wild than I’ve ever seen... just shows Americans don’t have a clue about what they want. Gallup had Obama at 43A and 50D on Saturday; today it’s 49A and 43D. +13 in two days... Amazing.
