On the Kim Jong-eun's Order "Not even a hair should be left" ... Mortar Used

Lee Yong-soo

Kim Jong-eun Ordered, "Not even a hair should be left"

More than ten generals purged this year, "Another day, another one disappears."

Since Kim Jong-il's sudden death last year, Kim Jong-eun took over and N. Korean military has been in the vortex of unprecedented 'purge drive' and the means of execution is (very) cruel, such as using mortar fire, a knowledgeable government source on N. Korea revealed on Mar. 21.

He said, “Since Dec. 30 last year when Kim Jong-eun became the commander-in-chief after Kim Jong-il’s mourning period, for a while, another day brought another disappeared star(general.) After examining evidences which had poured in since last month, (we found) purged generals number a two-digit figure. This must be the result of Kim Jong-eun’s order to ‘eliminate anybody who was out of line during General’s(Kim Jong-il’s) mourning period.’”

In particular, a Deputy Minister of Defense, who was caught drinking during the mourning period and initially reported to be shot in public, was actually executed in public by mortar fire, on the order of Kim Jong-eun, which stated, ‘Not even a strand of his hair should be left.’ “It was a grisly execution. His remains were difficult to find,” according to the source. That is, the condemned was placed where mortar rounds would land.

Isn’t Obama going to N. Korea now?

Makes the remaining Generals rather quiet and cautious, I would guess.

But these guys getting offed also happen to be buddies from O School, and such purges can have some reverse effects.

the mortar fire was simply designed as a Machevellian public spectacle ... probably was professionally filmed as a motivational tool ... at least the new Stalin-Child can express his creativity ...

A usual practice in North Korea is to make the extended family watch the execution of the dissident before shipping the entire extended family to the concentration camps. Where they are usually separated starved, beaten, raped or even executed for the slightest offenses or starve to death.

Oh and this also includes the children.

I’d take the mortar.

Pretty soon he’s going to piss off the wrong General

Power Play. Better than the 5 on IMDB. It is a story of exactly that -- a dictator who goes too far and pisses off his Generals.

He isn’t going to North Korea, he is going to the DMZ on the South Korean side. Maybe they can explain to him about the concentration camps in North Korea while he is there.

There is nothing new under the sun. After the Indian Mutiny of 1857, the British tied the ringleaders to the muzzles of cannons and blew them to pieces.

That method of execution seems rather tame compared to some of the other stuff we heard about (plastic shredders, vats of acid, hungry dogs, etc).

I was in a hotel room in Greece, watching television. I don’t know what station it was, but there were many men who resembled Saddam Hussein (mustaches, dark skin, big eyebrows), all wearing military fatigues. They were outside and a man wearing a white shirt with a pocket and khakis was pushed to the front of these men. They put what looked like a pack of cigarettes in his pocket with wires coming from it. They all backed away, getting out of the way so that this man was the only one in front of the camera. All of a sudden, there was smoke and he was gone. I had just witnessed an execution on public television. It happened before I knew what was going on. It was truly heinous and stayed with me a very long time.

This should be sent to the Carter Center at Emory University in Atlanta, Georgia.

Actually, the big toothy one wished Kim Jong Eun, "all the success in your new position".

I guess it is turning out even better than Jimmy Carter imagined. The boy is really showing true leadership at such an early phase of his reign. Pretty good for 28 years old. /sarc

A little “outside help” could further that. Seriously, that boy is very vulnerable. Someone is going to morter HIS own ass. What goes around comes around. Think of the families of those generals and the bitter hatred they will now have toward Kim Jong Eun (if they are even left alone to live).

Actually, North Korea has been showing mortar fire training in the last few days up there as training against "the South". The weather in the film and video makes it appear it is this time of the year in North Korea, and KJU appears as well.

Now I get the chilling feeling that in those hills being mortared, may well have been tied up to posts some of these Generals. And fire was directed on those targets. Somebody ought to really examine those morterings on Pyongyang TV very closely, you might just catch a view of the condemned tied up there before the explosions. CERTAINLY they will film this, and they will have mass, mandatory study sessions, and they will air the videos, and they will shout through loudspeakers that any traitors to the Party and leader Kim will receive the same fate. You better believe they are pulling hard line Waffen SS, Stalin, Pol Pot and Ceaucescu tactics on the people up there right now.
