The Sanford Neighborhood Watch volunteer who shot and killed Trayvon Martin, an unarmed black teenager, did not instigate the encounter but has received death threats and moved out of his home, his father told the Orlando Sentinel on Thursday.
George Zimmerman, 28, has not been arrested, something that has put him and the Sanford Police Department at the center of a firestorm. Critics say Trayvon, who was visiting family from his home in Miami, was a victim of racial profiling.
Zimmerman's father, 64-year-old Robert Zimmerman of Lake Mary, delivered a one-page letter to the Sentinel on Thursday, saying that the depiction of his son in the media has been cruel and misleading.
George Zimmerman is Hispanic and grew up in a multiracial family, the statement says.
"He would be the last to discriminate for any reason whatsoever ...," the letter says. "The media portrayal of George as a racist could not be further from the truth."
The letter does not provide details about what happened Feb. 26 on a walkway in the gated community where George Zimmerman lives and where Trayvon was visiting. But it does challenge one basic assumption of the family's lawyers: that Zimmerman's intent when he got out of his sport utility vehicle was to confront Trayvon after calling police to report a suspicious person.

The kids name was Tryvon Martin. At least in the reports I’ve read.
He ought to be referred to as Trayvon vom Rath, after Ernst vom Rath, whose shooting was the Nazis excuse for Kristallnacht.
I can tell you that in Texas, a kid who’s suspended for 5 days has been misbehaving in school multiple times. It could be attendance, it could be fighting, it could be mouthing off in class, it could be bad language, it could be a combination of any of the previous.

If it turns out Zimmerman is not guilty Michelle can blame it all on sugar. Skittles and Arizona Tea made Tryvon go off on a sugar induced hyperactive psychotic attack.

“I remember a TV show where the husband and wife were driving along (she had earlier been raped and was still freaked-out) and she suddenly points out a man and screams, “That’s him! That’s the guy who attacked me.” The husband stops the car, gets out, follows the man into a parking garage and kills him. Amen!! I saw that TV show. I wish some of the “hang him high” jump to conclusion types posting on this subject had seen it and MAYBE, JUST MAYBE had leaned something from it. But I guess we can’t deal with the willfully ignorant and emotional juveniles among us using logic or rational, calm thought & discussion.
He was headed for his father’s girlfriend’s house. He was suspended from school for 5 days.
And yet you seem to be the one without evidence of any kind that he said this. Not the Police, not the media, no one who isn’t connected personally and emotionally to this case supports your contention. How do you explain that.
Let me repeat your accurate post adding a link to the video of the crime scene and interview with the eye witness.

You have a guy approaching a 6’2” suspended from school black man in a hoodie, and upon initial confrontation the black man attacks, for whatever reason you wish to insert here....knocks down the neighborhood watch guy and starts beating the crap out of him.... only thing not accounted for is the fact that the neighborhood watch guy was armed.
Conclusion, the thug picked the wrong guy to attack.”

Race card politics really do have unintended consequences. It seems Obama and Holder want to railroad an Hispanic in Florida for something that was instigated by a “hoody wearer” (See Heraldo interview also see Uni-bomber sketch before you go racial). From witness statements it appears Mr. “Hoody wearer” may have been kicking Mr. Zimmerman’s ass before getting shot. We weren’t there and the facts no longer appear relevant.
Just for clarity, following witness statements, no PC was found for an arrest.

Or, if Martin really did provoke Zimmerman by attacking him, Michelle could say, "Whitey had it comin', but he didn't need to kill the po' black boy ..." - even though Zimmerman is a Hispanic Multi-Racial ...
Well, that might be true if only a few people do it. But if enough good folks do it, then their revenues will begin to dry up. And that’s what matters to them, not the truth and not the constitution. We don’t need to keep paying them to live and the juggernaut will eventually crash of it’s own weight if we stop supporting it.
Slab report says the kid dead weight was 160 lb, at that age I was 180 and six foot. So the kid was a string bean. And why did the kid stay on the phone with his girl friend, you already answered that, he was a kid. Why in the world would someone be hunting him with a gun, he had not done anything.
Not as big a leap as those who are trying to make that jump with their soul brother Al Sharpton.
Hell, my leap can’t even be considered leaving the ground compared to those.
