Thousands to Facebook Marine: We've got your back

The White House may not be happy about Marine Sgt. Gary Stein’s Facebook fan page criticizing the commander in chief, but the social media have embraced him, making his page a beehive of conversation and soaring his “likes” count to over 21,000 and growing.

Stein’s Armed Forces Tea Party page was founded in April 2010 as a way to give even active military members a forum for voicing opposition to the Obama administration’s allegedly unconstitutional actions.

The picture says it all. Where are the rest of the servicemen on our Armed Forces? I thought it was “against all enemies, foreign AND domestic”?

Odumbo is a foreigner on domestic soil, so Stein actually followed his oath.

Well shoot. I don’t know what is up with my comp this morning, because the formatting has clearly all gone to heck, but once more, I will try to post his twitter link : /

Regardless, at least I am bumping your thread... kinda pitiful look.
May God bless.

It’s a perception game. Some hold their fire, others do not. It should not be that way and there are no right or wrong answers in how to accomplish this, but so long the worship police feels afraid, we have a good way to gauge how screwed up, insecure and wasted is this country, politics, administration and economy.

Just another example of how Obama is demoralizing our troops and punishing them for opposing his endangering the troops through his demoralizing and demeaning statements about our constitution and their work and future, tanking the budget.

This is just rich, but it is not unusual to see the brass go after the guys they make angry and have demoralized... the very guys who are asking to have the morale so as to protect well and have a good reason to protect their lives and not just their corrupt priviledges.

Fraud waste and abuse has a name, and it is Obama.

I wonder if this Marine called the Commandant of the Marine Corps an idiot, would people still be supporting him? My point is, Marines aren’t allowed to criticize their chain of command openly. It shouldn’t matter if we all agree what he said about Obama, it’s still wrong.

If at some point it becomes really obvious that the government is drastically overstepping constitutional bounds, what do you want our military do then?

Do you want the military to support a corrupt government acting against the constitutional rights of American citizens?

Who must make the final decision as to the legality of orders from the government? Should it be agents of government, or the individuals sworn to uphold the Constitution?

I can see no alternative to individual decisions. I can find no logic in support of anything else.

“If at some point it becomes really obvious that the government is drastically overstepping constitutional bounds, what do you want our military do then?”

Stand down, let the people and their States handle this. The Federal Military cannot be put in a position of assuming or accepting dictatorial power under any circumstances.

While the members of the military are U.S. citizens and thus having obligation to defend liberty like all the rest of us, as an organizational they are incapable actively of doing that except from foreigners. Inactivity is therefore their only weapon in defending the Federal Constitution from domestic enemy’s.

If it comes down to a fight i expect, I hope their members will choose their side based upon the contents of their hearts. There we will find out who among them are honest patriots, sadly i expect that number to be very few.

Washington wants drones willing to blindly do their bidding not patriots interested only in defending liberty. The men who are discovered to have patriot hearts will be removed and/or marginalized.

What if the command structure doesn't stand down, and orders troops to disarm, arrest and imprison citizens arbitrarily?

The upper echelon of the services is not necessarily non political, if it sided with a tyrannical government and moved against citizens would you, as an armed services member disarm, arrest and imprison American citizens only because they exercise their 2nd amendment rights?

I think we can already answer that question both for me and for most all of our existing military personnel.

The truth is their trained to be traitors to liberty, their command structured should be expected to give such orders and almost all of their drones will follow such orders. We have seen this before and we will doubtlessly do it again.

The U.S. military is a machine build and purged by Washington to serve them no matter what lawless thing they order em to do. We have to try to change this, but truthfully as long as we have a standing army under the command of Washington this will always largely be the case.
