Plouffe calls out GOP candidates for criticizing Obama's Martin comments
American Thinker ^ | 3/25/2012 | Rick Moran

The president jumps into the Trayvon Martin controversy without all the facts being known, essentially calling for the shooter to be arrested and convicted, and yet it is GOP cadidates criticizing the president who are "reprehensible" according to Obama advisor David Plouffe? CNN:

White House senior adviser David Plouffe did not mince words Sunday when talking about the reaction by Republican presidential candidates Rick Santorum and Newt Gingrich to President Barack Obama's comments on the Trayvon Martin shooting.

"Those two comments are really irresponsible. I would consider them reprehensible," Plouffe said on CNN's "State of the Union." "I think those comments were really hard to stomach, really, and I guess trying to appeal to people's worst instincts."...

[Snip]

This is the second racial incident in which Obama has jumped the gun and either criticized "stupid" police as he did in the Gates controversy, or local authorities as he did last Friday in the Trayvon Martin tragedy. The former Constitutional law professor doesn't get it. When the president weighs in on a flashpoint controversy like this, he colors everyone's perception - including police, local courts, and his own DoJ.

In the Gates matter, his statement about police acting stupidly was given before it came out that Mr. Gates, who had every right to be on his own property, had no right to become belligerent and refuse to cooperate with police. In the Martin tragedy, a witness - ignored in the first hours after the incident occurred - has stepped forward and said that Martin attacked the shooter. This is consistent with injuries noted by police on Zimmerman when they arrived on scene.

Obama seems to be shaping public discussion in an election year with the help of his willing sycophants in the media. First it was non-stop Fluke (women vote) and now Martin (black vote). People want to hear about the economy, jobs, gas prices, etc. and instead we get this stuff.....

Sorry Plouffe we heard what he said.It implied that it is only an issue when a black teem dies ignoring the thousands of white teens who die at the hands of black teems like for instance the torture case last year or the other multitude of other cases out there.

Yep that is exactly what it is.Te first attempt the OWS is now a joke so they jumped on this as fast as possible thinking Zimmerman was white when he is not.I do not think race riots will save Obama if anything it will make it worse for him this fall.

I don’t think they will. You under centuries of law can not be compelled or forced to sign a contract against your will which is what Obamacare forces one to do.

New Black Panther leader Mikhail Muhammad announced the reward during a protest in Sanford Saturday. And when asked whether he was inciting violence, Muhammad replied defiantly: “An eye for an eye, a tooth for a tooth.”

Oh goody...that's gonna help.

What are the chances that Mikhail Muhammad's soothing words will stir up the white supremacist groups and get them involved too!

Apparently, "Hope and Change" is out for 2012.

This election's campaign slogan is "Recreate 68!"

After the failure to knock down campaign finance reform a few years ago, and the failure to vet Obama’s eligibility, I am afraid you are probably right.

Obama care is our nation’s death nail. If we can’t pull it out of our coffin before the left hammers it completely in, then our great nation will crumble and so will the rest of the world. It will result in chaos, anarchy, death and a set back of civilization.... Until our Savior then returns.

It is ironic that the left, like Bill Ayers, who deny God and love Anarchy, are the tools that will set up Jesus’ return to earth.

Saw Plouffe for the first time this morning on Fox Sunday.

He looks kinda like Matthew Broderick if Matthew were a sissy.

What a motley crew Obama has pulled together for this administration. Is there a single person in his administration who could be admired? Who has done a decent job?

A president should rise above the rabble, not stir the pot. Obama failed to lead.

Worse, he's using this case to electioneer.

We know from physical evidence and an eye witness Zimmerman was beaten by Trayvon.

I don't know what preceded that other than he was an idiot who didn't stay away and let the cops handle the call he made. He put both men in jeopardy by following. That may have spooked Trayvon who suspected Zimmerman to be a mugger and, rashly decided to lie in wait.

Perhaps it wasn't part of the transcript I saw but I've not seen where the racism angle comes into play.

I detest the rush to judgment in the press, in the "black community" and in the Oval Office. Zimmerman is innocent until proven guilty and every effort must be made to see he is treated fairly and according to the law, not according to mob rule.

If Zimmerman is a vigilante, as I've seen some suggest, what is a celebrity for retweeting Zimmerman's address or the New Black Panther Party for issuing a Wild West wanted poster?

Well, well, well.

So the White House hatchet men have suddenly come out of hiding to jump all over Gingrich because of what Gingrich said about the terrible incident in Florida concerning the death of the 17 year old boy.

But what about the White House response to the Arizona sheriff's conclusion recently that President Obama's 1980 Selective Service form and Obama's April 2011 long form birth certificate are fakes? There hasn't been any. Nothing.

In other words, I don't see Obama releasing his hatchet men to attack the sheriff the way Obama released his hatchet men to openly attack Gingrich.

Why is that?

It looks to me that the White House is scared to death to release their pit bulls to attack the sheriff and his findings---for instance, by having them make the rounds of the talk shows to ridicule the sheriff---because they know that the sheriff is someone you don't dare ridicule if you don't want to be attacked in return.

The White House people also know that the sheriff and his posse would love to see White House staff members on radio and tv attacking the sheriff so that the sheriff, in turn, can go on the same shows and defend himself against White House attacks.

For instance, I bet that the sheriff would love to go on national tv and debate President Obama and his staff face to face over and over about problems with Obama's Selective Service form and Obama's long form birth certificate.

But, of course, the last thing that the White House would want to do is to debate the sheriff and his posse on national tv, because the President knows that he will look bad and lose votes at the same time.

My point is this: The White House dare not jump all over the sheriff in public the way it has jumped all over Gingrich, because they know that if they go after the sheriff in public, they are only asking for serious trouble.
