OUR COLD CIVIL WAr
Theo Spark ^ | 3/21/2012 | Benjamin Smith

Posted on 03/26/2012 4:22:03 AM PDT by IbJensen

On the heels of NDAA, ObamaCare, Stimulus, Son of Stimulus, Patriot Act, takeover of auto, energy, media and movie industries, and the relentless implementation of Agenda 21... the Obama regime running our country into the ground has issued an updated Executive Order which suggests the probability of impending MARTIAL LAW.

We are left to scratch our heads and ask……… Why now?

The only possible answer is…

America is in fact, right now, in the vicious throes of a Cold Civil War.

Cold as in non-violent and Civil as in nationwide; an attempt to force a new government-controlled ideology upon an unwilling public.

And the forces implementing this agenda are relentless.

The National Defense Resources Preparedness Executive Order is nothing more than a blatant attempt to stir trouble of the highest intensity. The regime is looking to see who jumps and to see the movement that happens amongst the most vocal defenders of our rights, (you and me). They are poking us to see if we will go over the edge and do something so stupid that there will be a crisis… it will be our fault… and if any of our number are provoked enough to rise to the proverbial bait -- they will finally lower the hammer… all in the name of "national security and public safety."

These are classic Soviet style tactics designed and implemented in an effort to make us react, get us to either flinch and shut up, or overreact and get suppressed. It is also an exercise so they can gather intel on who is who and who has pull.

Many of us are trained. We know this game.

But we cannot stand down. We cannot be silent. We MUST stand together as one…WITHOUT VIOLENCE, for there is no going back from that; we MUST speak out with the conviction and the authority granted by our unalienable rights and the United States Constitution! Remember Martin Niemöller and his immortal wisdom about the failure of courage in speaking out; “Then they came for me and there was no one left to speak for me.” The regime is limiting our speech on a daily basis, so speak up while you still can. But be smart about what you say. Do not be tempted to phrase your words in terms of violence. For this is the way of the enemy and we should never stoop to their low and bloody tactics, whether in word or deed.

Keep preparing for rough times ahead. Stock your pantry in preparation for lean days, even as the regime attempts to make such things illegal. Focus your mind on liberty, that it should never die.

I cannot tell you exactly what is coming but I know, as do you, that something unprecedented in American history, perhaps even all human history, is coming soon.

This is the common theme in most of all the conversations that I hear… there is something coming, no one really knows what it is; they just know that whatever it is, it will be momentous. The discussions range from quantifying this "something" to describing what we will do after "IT" happens. I even hear serious open conversation of the Biblical “End of Times.” People, even those outside the grassroots Tea Party movement, feel it in their bones.

Speculation runs rampant as people ponder the feeling in their gut. It could begin with something as simple as personal unemployment. It may be the 2012 general election -- or NOT. Or it could be any number of events that will trigger Martial Law and the now legal occupation of America by her own troops, under the un-Constitutional NDAA.

Those types of events are limitless and terrifying. It could be a full scale crash of our economy and dollar. It could be a new World War launched by Israel attacking Iran, or vice versa. It could be the launch of the rumored North Korean EMP attack designed to hurl America 100 years back into pre-electronic time. It could be Islamic jihadists succeeding in a catastrophic terrorist attack. It could be the enemy within if the Obama Administration's aided and abetted “Occupy” movement transfers and escalates the violence witnessed in Oakland to the rest of the country.

Whatever the trigger might be, we are about to get the education of a lifetime on what it is to struggle. It will either make us more committed Americans, earning the Latin communitas – or it will literally tear us apart. I believe that the source of this struggle springs from the complex sublimity of global despotic tyranny – ultimate oppression.

Our culture is in the midst of a moral dilemma where bad is now good and what was deemed originally American by our Founders is now un-American. The Founders are all but outlawed because soon, unless those who hate freedom are halted, after the regime finishes destroying the Bill of Rights they will also totally erase the Founders from the educational curriculum. They will outlaw the works of our Founding Fathers and destroy their very existence, burning books and erasing American liberty from history. It will be done incrementally and they will transform our history into one that aligns with their totalitarian views.

Every single day we have now turned to reacting to what the regime is putting out instead of looking to where they are taking us. The powers pulling the levers of tyranny are every day more draconian and daring in scope as they usurp our institutions and drain the power from our Constitution and Bill of Rights. Most all of the stories that are important and should be seen are buried by the complicit media at the end of the weekly news cycles and under the cloak of darkness.

In Quantum Theory there is a concept called a singularity or a black hole. Just as a black hole cannot be seen in space, the actual truth and facts of the world situation and the intentions of the U.S. government must be judged by the influence exerted on the objects around it -- extortion, manipulation, intimidation, czars, fascist over- regulation designed to purposefully strangle an economy and legislate away your right to defend and provide for yourself -- all in an effort to force you into their food line dependency and powerlessness!

The gravity of a black hole is so monumental that even light collapses upon itself. And in the same way, the lights of liberty are also collapsing upon themselves as media, government officials and useful idiots corrupt our understanding of American Exceptionalism so we can never really know the nefarious plot that seeks to turn our good country into an empty carcass they can declare the "failed" American Experiment. Their answer to the great philosopher’s question, “Can man govern himself” will surely be no.

It must be noted that this current Administration is not the only perpetrator. A long history of Administrations, both Republican and Democrat, have eaten away at our freedom. This Obama Administration, so fatally attacking our liberty, is just the one closing the noose. The broad strokes of true Communism were tightly woven into the ObamaCare and Stimulus bills, yet most Americans had no clue. The technocratic, lawyer-istic drool contained within those bills made it even harder to comprehend that Soft Tyranny was the true intent. And Soft Tyranny always ends in Hard Tyranny -- a horror not yet experienced by Americans never exposed to adversity and real stress -- where tyrannical forces purposefully separate us from each other, turn us against each other (compulsory service, Ready Reserve, NDAA and the coercions in 5201 of ObamaCare) and control every aspect of our lives… lives which then become CRUEL because YOUR life will now be totally and completely ruled by THEIR choice.

IF THEY WIN, even the passion to be free and ultimately the reality itself of being free will be as if these blessings have never existed. Tyranny can never allow such powerful ideas to remain in the collective consciousness.

They will burn our books and they will attempt to erase our God. Because without the concept of freedom codified in books by the brilliant minds of Cicero, Locke and Montesquieu; without the inspiration and institutions from our Founders; without the guidance of God to the understanding that there is a higher power than the government, there would never have been our nation "conceived in liberty."

But while I believe this struggle in which we are engaged is the struggle of the century, nay, the struggle of all centuries, I also believe in American Exceptionalism.

I believe that the heart and soul of America is strong and vibrant and that we shall not falter in our commitment to liberty.

We live NOW in the times that will try men’s souls.

CHOOSE NOW!

Are you a Summer Soldier, a Sunshine Patriot only to speak out when times are easy and there is no risk?

Or are you an American Exceptionalist who will STAND with me, RIGHT NOW to preserve our liberty, our beliefs and the American Way?

I don't doubt for a minute that after 39 months of an Obama administration and the fact that a massive leftist media that supports his brand of socialism, that those of us on the right are fed up to the point of vomiting.

Unfortunately, this has been going on for many administrations and it appears that a horrible disease affects those who decide that a lifetime career in national politics is for them and, after being elected, it is their entitled place in Congress until they die or get tossed out.

America is dying in red ink and in a non-existant philosophy.

It’s not about Obama. He’s not taking the country anywhere that the New World Order types in the GOP don’t want to go. The Muslims want a world wide caliphate, the western elites want a neo feudalism.

Keep your powder dry.

Violence is required under only extreme circumstances (suspension of the constitution, refusing to transition after an election)

Until then, stay aware, voice your opinion and prepare.

I think the likelihood of a full out civil war is remote. However, there may be increases in civil strife especially as the country becomes demographically more diverse and we import more ethnic groups that will not assimilate. As an aside, I think this is a good reason to encourage your sons/nephews to get some type of military training. In addition to simply being a hallmark of a good citizen, it may come in handy some day...plus we need good men in all branches of the service.

With a population of 300 million that is also well armed a standing Federal Army of 500,000 isn't enough troops to occupy Arkansas let alone the entire USA. Even if you add the police that is only a million troops. The standing Federal Army is too small for the statist dream of martial law.

Half the standing Army would throw down anyway if told to occupy a state.

It took Hitler 500,000 troops just to occupy Yugoslavia during WWII.

“Half the standing Army would throw down anyway if told to occupy a state.”

When Qaddafi ordered his army to attack Libyans, more than half the army deserted to the provincial militias, which are equivalent to our state’s guards.

Qaddafi then ordered his mercenary goons to round up eight deserters and execute them. Within a week, his mercenaries were hanging from lampposts as decorations, while others were running like scared rats for the Niger border.

By the next week, Qaddafi had been captured, thrown on the hood of a militia SUV and executed with his own gold-plated pistol. More than 7,000 Qaddafi supporters and mercenaries are in various militia prisons, their fate unknown.

If you’re going to order your military out to kill their neighbors, families and friends, expect the consequences.

DO the math. 50 states in the union. 500,000 man Army. Thats average of10,000 troops per state. At any given time 1/3 are on duty, 1/3 are sleeping. 1/3 doing maintenance etc. 1/3 of 10,000 is 3,333 soldiers on duty to patrol an entire state. LOL. Let’s say each state has 50 counties. That is 66 guys, or an undersized infantry company i.e. 2 platoons, to patrol an entire county. The numbers are not there.

Yes and in addition to that some 14 states thankfully including GA have already passed legislation putting state guard/militia under the Gov to go agains’t the Feds if they declare martial law and try to take over. If CW2 breaks out its going to be the states vs the Feds not the civilians out in the streets. That is the way it needs to go down.

Our Federal Army is great at defeating a small to mid sized Armies in an out and out war. It sucks at occupation. This is a factor of size and mental outlook. Occupations are boring low tech police type operations, no glamor.

Oh really? To take on the entire San Francisco Bay Area of 12 million people, all I would need is about 50 guys with armored vehicles, automatic weapons, and properly set charges. Cut the power, blow the bridges, let panic clog the exit roads with traffic, and watch the people die of smallpox. If they try to leave on foot, they won't get far, they won't be able to organize, and they won't have supplies.

Lev 26:25 You shall be gathered into your cities, I will set the pestilence among you, and you will be delivered into the hands of the enemy.

It's not that hard.

Now, if you want a real means of deterring tyranny, what it really takes is a hardened population prepared in advance to evacuate en masse and on foot if necessary, knowing where to go having the relationships set up in advance (as in with a known command structure), with supplies prepared and stored in secret out of town such that you could get there on foot if necessary.

That plan was written 3,500 years ago, but has been never understood, until now.

Your numbers are basically correct with regards to the Army, but you're overlooking an increasingly militarized police. Local and state agencies have been getting ever increasing amounts of federal aid, assistance and equipment; it doesn't come without strings.

Roll those numbers into the mix, and even if 50% of the nation's law enforcement officers (which I think is an overly optimistic projection) refused to participate in a crackdown on the general populace, the numbers change susbtantially.

The number there now sure ain't enough.
And that's with a pretty inept opposition.

Multiply by 50, and replace the opposition with those 18,000,000 trained in Operation Deer Hunter.

^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^

One of the litmus tests that should be used to determine if prominent conservative spokesmen have been summer patriots is how they have handled Obama’s eligibility.

If any of the conservative yappers ( Rush, Beck, Coulter, Levin, Ingraham, etc.) have ignored or poorly reported on Obama’s FORGED documents, his failure to e-verify, and phony social security numbers then you **KNOW** they are weenies.

If true tyranny comes to our nation Rush and the rest will sell their talents to the fascist oligarchy. They will spit shine the jack boots crushing our necks. Bet on it!

Quite. Our side is doing exactly nothing, outvoted by the 50% who pay nothing yet are provided for via the police power of the state, plus the 30+% who do pay and beg for higher taxes. Shouting “look! it’s getting worse! speak out while putting your head on the chopping block!” is not helpful.

Remember, the powers that be have learned to not take head-on steps. They will not unleash “martial law” and “cancel elections”. They will just declare increasing non-submission illegal, and render your vote moot. They will tolerate unproductive dissent, let new social norms marginalize & ostracize opponents, and bind trivial consent to empowering tyranny (ex.: pay your taxes -> fund abortion). The “cold war” aspect applies insofar as none will dare take real steps in opposition, whining while empowering the beast.

Not kidding

All urban peoples are easier to occupy than rural people. All populations that depend on public utilities and public services are easier to occupy than those populations that are not accustomed to such utilities and services.

And then there are the rural peoples who are dependent on equipment they acquire from the urban manufacturing centers.

Americans are almost all urban people now days and the few that are not are rural people who are dependent on urban manufacturing. Afghanistan has a population that is neither of these AND they are all militant.

I would estimate the soldier to occupied population ratio in afghanistan is twice what would be required in america.

Why such overt vicious militaristic controls? Why "go after control points, such as rail lines, telecom, ports, etc." when all those control points are already subject to intense scrutiny & control? You are already complying. Dissent is impotent, thus tolerated. Recall Apple's 1984 commercial's scene depicting Big Brother declaring to the gaping subordinate hordes "Our enemies shall talk themselves to death." So go ahead: talk, prepare, whatever - you will do nothing, so better to let you thrash in peace than waste resources enforcing what already is, in practice, compliance. All such threads invariably declare "but whatever you do, comply." So...what opposition? What's to inflict troops on when all comply?

And...At first they won't go after a major conservative leader directly, but maybe it will be a missing cousin such as Malkin’s beautiful cousin.

Americans are almost all urban people now days

Where did you get that statistic? Do some research.

Virginia example population = 7 Million. Data here

1 Virginia Beach city, Virginia Beach city	425,257
2 Norfolk city, Norfolk city	234,403
3 Chesapeake city, Chesapeake city	199,184
4 Richmond city, Richmond city	197,790
5 Arlington CDP, Arlington County	189,453
6 Newport News city, Newport News city	180,150
7 Hampton city, Hampton city	146,437
8 Alexandria city, Alexandria city	128,283
9 Portsmouth city, Portsmouth city	100,565
Out of a population of 7,000,000 only 2.5 million live in major population centers. Add 1 million for suburban NoVa. The majority live in the rural small town areas.

Do some research before embarrassing yourself on this forum.

What the leftists and the MSM don’t yet realize is that they are useful idiots, until they are no longer useful. Then, they will be fodder, just like the rest of us.

My Bible says those that want to be first, will be last. Me I’m just a servant trying to do what must be done to help others understand.

suburbs and small towns are not rural. Do you know how many farmers there are in america now days? It’s about one to two million. TOTAL. out of 350 million.

btw, population data on american cities is misleading. They only count the numbers of people inside the city limits OF THAT PARTICULAR COUNTY.

I tell you what, you have nothing to fear in this scenario, as you will be licking the first federal boot you see Quisling.

The visual of a Federal Force occupying a state house and arresting a sitting Governor will light a fire not seen for 150 years.

The point is they will be at those infrastructure points to control them. They’ll have what they need and try to starve the rest of us.

You have it backwards, I think. The insurgency will be trying to destroy those things infrastructure wise. It is the Federal occupiers job will be to keep the infrastructure intact, for stability reasons.

Obama’s government is too smart to do something foolish as to tip his hand so blatantly with armed drones - they’ll only do that in the end stages if they get resistance.

They’ve been identifying troublemakers to target for individual treatment (IRS, jobs, DHS no-fly, weapons violations, etc.), planning to take the financial means for conservative sympathizers via heavy taxes and outright confiscation of 401Ks, etc.

The DHS is already LOOKING for Preppers by asking merchants, companies and the like to drop a dime on their customers. They’ve also forayed into public highway searches in Tennessee. It’s coming. It’s coming, for sure.

You are losing your temper now because you are beginning to see how wrong and ignorant you are. Ever heard of the phrase “greater metropolitan area”? The typical US city has a population double that which is reported in the official population number. This is because the greater metropolitan area includes surrounding suburbs that are in adjacent counties and areas outside the official “city limits” and these people are not included in the official city population number.

Using your own data, you would double the city populations to get a more clearer picture. Now suddenly you have a city dwelling population of 5 million out of a total of 7 million. You only listed 9 cities. THere are a hell of a lot more than 9 cities in the state. Add the next largest 25 cities and you will easily eat up another million of your total population.

I think you can figure it out now, unless you are completely helpless.

Why would they? Throw enough money at the state and the Gov will be a yes-man.

They know what will set off the opposition - ergo, they won't.

^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^

They don't even have to throw money. Look at Georgia.

They threw two **permits** for nuclear power plants and **Bingo!** Obama’ name is now allowed on the election ballot!

( Does anyone really think that the environmentalists will allow those power plants to be built? Really? How many lawsuits will tie up construction into the next millennium? )
