Many people are calling for the 4WD driver to be charged with attempted murder? Hmmmmm? The motorcylist started everything.

Never bring a motorcycle to an SUV fight.
To: rawhide
The video seems to start with the lady coming up on the bike, and the biker looked back, the lady backs up and the biker gives her car a "and don't let it happen again" kick.
SHE thinks, Yeah? phuque you too .. and probably meant to do a less aggressive return, but it just didn't work out that way.
The rest, as we say .. is history.

It appears that the rider had angered the driver by kicking her vehicle and arguing with her after he tried to squeeze through a gap while stopped at a traffic light on a three-lane highway. So, the biker feeling ENTITLED to go through spaces that no car is physically capable of going through - was angered and decided to take it out by theatening and vandalizing the 4WD car? Am I the only one who would consider this threatening?
Granted, the driver over-reacted; but the instigator of the entire confrontation was the biker, for being denied to execute a maneuver that is inherently dangerous and illegal in many states and cities.

I’m not going to justify or defend what the woman did in the slightest, but if you don’t want to get hit by a car, you probably shouldn’t kick it.

How is that? She went batsh!t at a motorcyclist splitting lanes? I’d say she committed vehiclular assault.
To: rawhide
Motorcyclists are more equal than others and it is their duty to remind others of that fact.
It is especially troubling to find that some will actually refuse to genuflect when confronted.

I don’t know... It looked to me as if he was already in front of her and she had her nose tilted towards the biker. She should have not come that close to him. I probably would have kicked her car too!
Review the tape. It really looked like he was already in that position. I don’t see him coming up and riding in between the two cars. He was already there!

O.k. nevermind! I watched again and slowed it down again and again. He did come up between them and she wasn’t having any of that.

The four wheeler is inches from being left over the lane ... she came up on to the bike which was (allowably) ON the lane marking and he responded discourteously (but righteous, imo) to a driver devoid of road courtesy .... or doing her nails at the time.
C'mon y'all ... are we all trevon martin, now ?
Watch the video.

Reviewing the video again, it shows the motorcyclist attempting to go between the two cars, as they both come to a stop.
You know, motorcyclists have this right to squeeze between cars, it is written in the US Constitution! /s

I disagree, the cyclists was slightly behind the SUV as they came up to a stop, then tried to sqeeze through the gap between cars. Look at video again.

He He. I have to admit I would have enjoyed it even more if it were a bike rider rather than a motorcyclist

Lane splitting in Georgia is ILLEGAL.
He gave it and he got more back. Were he
here in Georgia he’d be wrong to be in the same lane alongside ANY
car.

But so what rawhide. Filtering in traffic is not legal in 56 states (CA being the exception), but that is Brazil. In most of the world, filtering is legal. No reason for her not to allow the guy to do it except it pleased her to do so. Then used her car to block and possibly hurt the biker.

He He. I have to admit I would have enjoyed it even more if it were a bike rider rather than a motorcyclist As would I, after watching 'em for more than a quarter Century in San Francisco.
