VICTORVILLE • While friends and family are mourning the loss of a 58-year-old Victorville man, authorities are still searching for the men who shot and killed the Korean immigrant Monday afternoon during a robbery, San Bernardino County Sheriff's officials said.
“He was just a really good guy,” said a store owner whose shop is only a few doors away from where the murder took place just outside the indoor swap meet on La Paz Drive and Seventh Street. The store owner did not wish to be identified.
One of the three robbers shot and killed Inho Lee after the men had already left the indoor swap meet on Monday afternoon carrying several items from a jewelry counter, according to reports.
According to witnesses and other business owners, Lee owned a small tool shop inside the swap meet and did not own the jewelry counter which was the apparent target of the thieves.
Two business owners confirmed Lee was a police officer in Korea before he immigrated to the United States.
“I think he was just trying to help because of his background being a cop in Korea,” the local merchant said.
Authorities received several 911 calls at about 3:40 p.m. reporting the robbery and shooting, according to a release.
Witnesses reported seeing three black men — at least two of them armed with handguns — jump out of a white vehicle, possibly a Jeep, and run inside the swap meet.

Also, I’m a Texan who’s just visited California and Florida a few times so I’m no expert... but my understanding is that those States have lots of warm weather. So, I’m not following why a hoodie is necessary. Then again I don’t understand the size 50” waist jeans around a 30” waist. Guess I’m clueless on fashion, but at least I am observant and armed.
