I knew of a similar set of British twins twenty years ago. I was friends with the sister, who looked white. She showed me a picture of her twin brother, who looked black (a lot darker than the twin seen here.) Her mother was English and her father from Africa (I don’t remember which country.)
Aren’t genes just a kick in the pants....
Sweet kids, may the lord look after and protect them.
I think God has put the black/white issue to rest with these twins. Will Obama ever let us move forward?
Let’s see which on eis more successful in 20 years.

They do look quite a bit alike, except for the complections. Fraternal twins look as much like each other as any set of siblings.
Also, before I knew Derek Jeter had a black father and white mom, when he first came up to the majors, I saw a picture of him with his sister and her skin is a lot darker then his. I thought they must be step brother and sister but they're not.

What beautiful girls! The black/white thing doesn’t startle me that much, though. We have fraternal twin boys . . . and one looks like my side of the familiy (and acts it) and one looks like my husband’s side of the family (and acts it!). The difference is so pronounced that people remarked on it as soon as we brought them home. “Genetics in action” is always a funny thing!
