Keith Olbermann's team has wasted no time getting their version of his latest network departure into the public realm.
First, Olbermann himself exploded on Twitter less than an hour after getting fired, accusing Current TV bosses Al Gore and Joel Hyatt of being incompetent and dishonest and vowing to sue them.
And now, Olbermann's team have apparently spent considerable time with Howard Kurtz of the Daily Beast, showing Kurtz a trail of emails designed to prove their case.
This aggressive promotion effort has, thus far, been effective: Two days after the show host was canned, it's Al Gore's TV network, Current TV, that is on the defensive.

I wonder where Olbermann will go now? Looks like he has burned himself out on cable TV. Maybe he and Charlie Sheen can start their own network? I guess Liberal talk Radio?

The first time I realized there was a Current network I was channel surfing and came across Cenk Uygur and the Young Turks. My first reaction was, “Who would give that clown an actual TV show?” I researched it and found out AlGore was behind it and it all made sense, or nonsense if you prefer.
Nothing so invigorating as watching from a boat the people on shore taking dumps in the river and splashing nasty river water upon their butts.
Says the Headliner Clown. Love it!
I love how they declined in credibility as his career progressed.
Maybe Olbie has a good gripe. I’m having visions of the Klown Kars from Ringling Bros. used by the Gore network as their limos.
But then again, how would Olbie distinguish what clowns look like? His own mirror would only reflect his own red nose and greasepaint along with a wildly ridiculous wig.
In fact, the rest of the Klown College alumni on the networks can’t see their own silliness and stupidity. They all fit right into that itty bitty little car just like their leftist ideology or rather, idiotology.
Maybe just a little bit less so, now that the Olber-moron is gone.
But at least Spitzer and Weiner are hetero. The Olber-moron is suspect in the fruit department.
