It is The New Republic, but still interesting. The author's saying Romney needs to move left "slowly and carefully". I guess that's why the Party wants this done now, so there's time.

This is exactly why Ubama has been maneuvering to male Myth the GOP nominee for the past three and a half years.

He's probably the only Republican he could beat.

Wait until the real attacks begin.

0bama will be walking on water (again) before the MSM is finished with Romney.

Who “approved” of Romney in the first place?

“And he continued to get prominent endorsements from star conservatives”

Oh yea, like Bush 41, Bob Dole and John McCain, real conservatives.

When I heard that he’s building a $30 million house in Malibu, during this run; I knew it was over.

Then lo and behold, it’s the first thing Howard Dean mentions.

I’ll still vote for him of course, but will the so called “independents” in Ohio-Florida vote for him? They will decide this thing. With Romney’s out of touch arrogance of building a super house in a movie star location, during the election of his life; I’m less sure than ever.

Mitt Romney is the ONE Republican most likely to lose to Obama in 2012.

It’s amazing that we some how appear to have ended up with him of all people.

I honestly couldn’t have created a worse candidate to run against Obama in November than Romney.

Basic simple reality is that Romney and Gingrich are both capable of beating Obama, the one shot we’ve ever had at losing this thing is Rick Santorum. Getting blown out of a US senate race as a two term incumbent is an astonishing feat, there probably haven’t been more than two or three US politicians in the history of the republic who ever could have managed it.

There's no enthusiasm for Romney.

Once again the moronic majority primary voters go with "it's his turn."

It's almost baffling how we get the candidates we get for POTUS, let alone the nominee and the winners.

I’m sorry, but this is BS. Let’s see if the poll sampled 60% Democrats.

Good work GOPe

You have handed the nomination to the biggest loser possible. Congratulations, we might see Obama and the Democrats win 40 states at this rate.

Mittens RINOmney was a vapid dork ten years ago.

He remains a vapid dork today.

He will be a vapid dork tomorrow.

The Repulsicans had better ditch this idiot and nominate a real male with real cojones soon.

After all, we’ve had enough of the mutant ninja castrata quota baby currently pretending to be a president.
