If "Social Darwinism" means not paying people not to work and to have children they cannot support, I'm for it.

Obama and his henchmen are quick to attack Republicans for "divisive" rhetoric. What hypocrites.

I thought the only people who didn't believe in evolution were the bitter clingers?

Evidently Ubama only has a selective belief in evolution.

and flatly rejects the Reagan-era mantra of trickle-down prosperity

Obama, like most foolish Socialists, embraces the concept of trickle-down misery. In their view, a just and equal society is one where everybody is equally miserable and nobody can get ahead (except for the government master class, which is free to loot at will).

After all, that's the only "fair" way, isn't it?

"In this country, broad-based prosperity has never trickled down from the success of a wealthy few"

Tru, dat muh bruthah! Henry Ford, J. Paul Getty, Howard Hughes, and the Wright brothers didn't create a prosperous middle class.

“thinly veiled social Darwinism” that would greatly deepen inequality in the country.

Forget the "thinly veiled" part - let's have it, full-on, straight-up! I am sick and tired of busting my {expletive} to support my family only to have a significant percentage of my income confiscated by a fascist/socialist government and redistributed to those that are too lazy to work, too lazy to improve themselves and their lot. There is a huge under-class of people out there quite willing to settle for a lifestyle at whatever level the government will support them at, augmented by whatever illegal enterprises they can get away with.

Enough! I work to enjoy the fruits of my labor, not to support some great socialist experiment. If I support someone down on their luck, in need of a hand up (not a hand out) it should be my choice to expend my resources (time, money, etc.). Not the governments choice to confiscate my resources and expend how they see fit! Never! You want my help, show me how you're getting out of your situation, not just getting by on whatever you can beg/borrow/steal from me via the government.

So yeah, let's have some social Darwinism. Let those who care so little for themselves fall, those who heed the wakeup call can work like the rest of us.

Mr. Obama’s attack, in a speech during a lunch with editors and reporters from The Associated Press...

And not one of these so-called journalists bothered to question or contradict the president's demagogic asshattery? Point out that the Dems haven't produced a budget in years? That King 0's budget was voted down 414 to ZERO in the House last week? That we're the brokest country of all time? Nope, I guess they were all there just to collect their "Obama2012" campaign buttons.

Obama’s welfare state has turned helping someone into money as a drug. When his LACK of Budget finally hits the fan, just who is going to get hurt the worst? Those who earn their living with the work of thier hands or those who depend on a check from the state, that now will not cash?

I find Obamas policies to be directly destructive to the poor, as it will destroy them in the end.

Someone please tell Pharaoh Obama that the middle class didn't exist until capitalism developed, and that virtually every poor person alive today in America is richer, freer, and has far more material wealth and a better quality of life than all but a small handful of wealthy people did just 100 years ago. That is what socialism seeks to destroy, and Obama is leading the way.

Yeah, Hitlery was off her chain the other day.
She prefaced her prepared statement (which sounded like a memo from the White Hut) by saying that she wasn’t really that political anymore ... but she wanted to say that Adolf Limbaugh and his evil conservative zombies should try to be more civil.
Today the theme is that us conservazombies want a state of nature in order that we can eat the poor, elderly and defenseless because we’re rich, powerful, amoral brutes.
Like you say, I’ve worked hard all my life, been frugal with my money (that the government allowed me to keep) and I raised my own family and—like it or not—helped raise several others.
Obama’s opposition to a budget and his free healthcare plan—well, I’ll bend over so he can KMA.

President Obama opened a full-frontal assault Tuesday on the budget adopted by House Republicans, condemning it as a “Trojan horse” and “thinly veiled social Darwinism” that would greatly deepen inequality in the country.

I think it is called Second Thessalonianism...

2 Thessalonians 3:10 For even when we were with you, this we commanded you, that if any would not work, neither should he eat.

Charity and love for those in need is the duty of the individual Christian, but it needs to be understood that is charity, and not an entitlement. And the government's attempt to usurp the individual's place in charity is anti-Christian.

Is there such a thing as “Socialist Darwinism”?

That would be where you pay the unproductive and government dependent among us to have children so that subsequent generations are more and more unproductive and government dependent via genetics and culture.

As far as I know nobody yet has proposed this directly, but it sure seems to be one of the net results of their policies.
