WASHINGTON (AP) -- In a letter written at the request of a federal appellate judge, Attorney General Eric Holder is providing assurances that the Obama administration respects the decisions that courts make.
The attorney general wrote the letter after appeals court judge Jerry Smith in Texas asked Holder to reassure him that the Justice Department recognizes judicial authority.

Holder said "the power of the courts to review the constitutionality of legislation is beyond dispute," though it should only be exercised in "appropriate cases."

Meanwhile, in unreported news, Holder is still trying to stone-wall his way out of responsibility for the Fast & Furious conspiracy. Will he succeed? Won’t he? Only the Republicrats in the Senate know, and they’re not saying.
"I'm confident that the Supreme Court will not take what would be an unprecedented, extraordinary step of overturning a law that was passed by a strong majority of a democratically elected Congress," Obama said on Monday. "And I'd just remind conservative commentators that for years what we've heard is the biggest problem on the bench was judicial activism or a lack of judicial restraint, that an unelected group of people would somehow overturn a duly constituted and passed law. Well, this is a good example. And I'm pretty confident that this court will recognize that and not take that step."
Who will be called upon to have to explain this time? hehe
It was Jay Caney today and he was laughed at to his face.

Holder claiming judicial review “should only be exercised in ‘appropriate cases.’” is an insult.
