Obama: A brand in search of a slogan
By DONOVAN SLACK | 4/7/12 7:00 PM EDT
Everyone knows what Barack Obamas campaign slogan was in 2008. No one seems to know what it will be for 2012.
The White House has been cycling through catchphrases since announcing his reelection bid a year ago: Winning the Future, We Cant Wait, An America Built to Last, An Economy Built to Last, A Fair Shot.
They seem to be looking for one to resonate and the constant unveiling of new ones suggests that so far, none of them have. To communications experts, the kaleidoscope of slogans is the latest reflection of the difficulties finding and marketing a message that Obama has faced almost since his inauguration another challenge that came with the shift from insurgent outsider to sitting president.
Hes all over the place, said Bruce I. Newman, the Bill Clinton brand-messaging adviser whose Bridge to the 21st Century helped define Clintons 1996 reelection campaign.

I’ll Be Baaaasaaak
“all over the place”- isn’t that the same term they use for dog/cow/horse sh!t???
Look at that picture. It appears he is white except for his head. There appears to be a “tan” line around his neck. Do you think he darkens his face to appear more black?
Obama is running on empty. All he has is straw men.
Leni
He IS a straw man.
Here’s a good slogan for him: I’m a horse’s a$$
Hot air rises, lifting all balloons...
No, no, try this one; Clown noses are red, Obama noses are brown, I'd rather sport a red nose, than be an Obama brown nose Clown...
No? well how about this; The future, it's still yet to come What? Lame?
Ok, my last one then; Obama, 4 More, And We're Done Now you try...
I’m one vote away from being your ‘forever president’.
How about “Broke and Deranged”?
I for one would be willing to witness the Obama resurrection test
As a certified and disinterested third party, I would provide truthful testimony of the test results.
1. How ‘bout a Second Helping?
2. Fair shot - wrong color
3. Vote for me - I’ll send Michelle on vacation permanently!
4. Gimme us what you got, whitey!
5. It couldn’t have been that bad - you’re still here.
6. Whatever it takes - we’ll take whatever.
“What, Me Worry?”
Hasn’t that been his slogan all along?
“Stepin Fetchit v.2012”
“Winning the Future” and “Kinetic Military Action” seem to sum up his administration and he can put them to good use in his campaign.
Yeah, WTF and KMA. That’s the ticket.
We have not yet run our of straw-man arguments.
We have more secrets to give to Russia and China.
Marxism is hard, it's gonna take for more years to fully implement.
We need another term to complete the co-opting both Houses and the Supreme Court.
Obama, a slogan in search of a brand.
