911 operators are not law enforcement officers. I agree with you. That is not a reasonable conclusion.

Absolutely.. She only needed a grand jury if she was charging first degree murder. She is going for manslaughter as I understand it. One does not need a grand jury for that.

They may charge him with defacing public property.

There doesn't seem to be a bit of evidence that would support a manslaughter conviction. However, at the risk of sounding like a racist, if the jury is all black, expect a conviction regardless of evidence. Also, if he is arrested and charged, expect the media to go nuclear on his trial coverage, and whip up the savages to a raging furor if he isn't. It will be an enormous legal circus with the outcome having consequences either way.

I think the “evidence” so far certainly supports manslaughter moreso than first degree murder. I do not see them proving premeditation. I agree re: the media circus. Also, because this is Florida, there is a greater chance the trial will be televised.

“I was surprised Santorum immediately found Zimmerman guilty of murder.”

So was I, unpleasantly!

“Doesn’t Santorum have better handlers than that?”

He shouldn’t need handlers to give the obvious, common sense answer: “I’m waiting for all the facts to come out before offering an opinion on this case.”

“We don’t need anyone else in the White House making snap judgments (acting stupidly) about local matters or any matters actually.”

Exactly. Further, his statement showed yet again that he doesn’t have as much savvy has he should, in general.

I'm not aware of any information that would suggest Mr. Zimmerman is guilty of any crime whatsoever. What are you aware of, that you think he might be guilty of manslaughter?

I am sorry if my post read like that. I was not giving my personal opinion on whether I think he is guilty or not. I was trying to say, if I was the prosecutor, looking at the evidence so far, I certainly would not want to go with first degree murder. I would go with manslaughter charges instead. Sorry I was not more clear. My personal opinion at this point is not important.

Why manslaughter? Do you feel he had no right to defend himself?

What happens if they start a riot and the Whites they hate so much just laugh in their faces?

If they riot - and we laugh at them - they will lose. The 50 so-called protesters ( most from around the country) in Sanford the past few days will slink back under their rocks...

A tire sale at Sears brings in more than 50 people... but if there's violence the 50 will turn into 500..

Dems want to gin up a riot - it works for them - they'll have their suck-up shills at the New York Times blame the whole thing on conservative whites - other newspapers will follow suit - and TV stations will imitate them... and Obama will be re-elected.

We need to be careful.

I vote the riot be held in the lobby and offices of the NYT.

Again, I am not talking about my personal opinion. I was talking about the law. An unarmed man was killed. The question is whether it was self defense. Or manslaughter. If charges are brought, I was saying I would bring manslaughter charges rather than first degree murder charges as I do believe one would have to prove premeditation and it is my opinion that does not exist. Nor was he lying in wait. I was simply considering charges based on the evidence as we know it. And more importantly, what the prosecutor knows. And she knows alot more than we do. I do believe charges will be brought and I believe that will be manslaughter. I do like what I have read about this prosecutor.

There you had a saturation campaign by the media of a fraudulent video; one showing only the few seconds when the officers misbehaved, and not the extended struggle that preceded those few seconds, and would explain how those officers were driven over the age by King’s outrageous behavior. Folks out in television land didn’t even know that the rest of the tape existed.

The jury, however, saw the whole thing, deliberated, and came to a reasonable conclusion, which was never explained to the public, which never saw the tape, only the one brief segment that standing alone seemed inexcusable. So the hangers on rioted for days, thanks to the media’s deceit.

In this case, however, the fact that the audio tape was doctored has been exposed in the media, which is now on the defensive. NBC claims that they didn’t intentionally doctor the tape to totally distort Zimmerman’s meaning.

Corroborated by eye witnesses and the full, undoctored tape, there is a good chance that Al and his band of career grievance-mongering disciples will be left without any rock and firebomb throwers to whip up. It could go the other way, but I truly think that the best chance for order and sanity to prevail is a trial.

Their clamor du jour is for a trial, but what they really want is to clamor for a trial that doesn’t happen, and use that as proof of a conspiracy.

When this is over, realize that black assaults on any non-black persons will be non-crimes. And when a black man is beating your brains out, it will now be a crime to defend yourself. And don't think the Hommies don't know this.

BE ACUTELY AWARE: When he is arrested he may as well be sentenced. He absolutely cannot NOT be acquitted, under any circumstances.

Police to White Victim: We ‘Don’t Mess’ with Black Gang
American Thinker ^ | April 10, 2012 | Selwyn Duke

Most of us have heard about how the media won’t report on black-on-white crime. We also may know that authorities sometimes sweep it under the rug due to political pressure, usually with a wink and a nod. But not so in rural Alabama, where the police actually told a white crime victim that they “don’t mess” with a local black motorcycle gang.

The tragic event that led to this shocking admission occurred on March 28, as truck driver Nick Stokes and neighbor Johnathan Cooper were heading out of Birmingham hauling a portable cabin. While rounding a curve, one of Stokes’ tires slipped and kicked up some gravel, which angered a black motorcycle-gang member who was in close proximity. The gangster — part of the notorious “Outcasts of Alabama” — gave chase and tried to force Stokes to pull over to the side of the road. Here’s what happened next, as reported by the Macon Beacon’s Scott Boyd, whose piece has been published online by J. Christian Adams:

Andrea Black said she has tried dozens of death penalty cases, and just defended a client in a stand your ground case. "It's unreasonable to think that Mr. Zimmerman had any right to be afraid. The kid was unarmed," said Black.

Interesting. So now we have "no right to be afraid."

As well as no right to defend ourselves against an attacker who is pounding our brains into the ground ... because after all, the attacker might not have a weapon.

"There you had a saturation campaign by the media of a fraudulent video...."

And this is different how? You do realize those that are doing the "clamoring" have their minds made up. They seek only CONFIRMATION not INFORMATION. No amount of retraction or clarification will get through to their closed minds. There is only one suitable result. Even then, there's no guarantee there wont be any celebratory looting.
