A few fun videos to go along with our popular Mitt Romney is a Liberal series. Via Buzzfeed, here are five instances on film in which Mitt Romney distances himself from either conservatism or the Republican party or both. Ill embed the first one and link to the others at the bottom.
Mitt Romney: My Views Are Progressive
Video 2: Im not running as the Republican view or a continuation of Republican values. Thats not what brings me to the race.
Video 3: I think its very clear to people across the commonwealth my R doesnt as much stand for Republican as it does for reform.
Video 4: Its always a burden to have run with R for Republican after your name.
Video 5: I was an independent during the time of Reagan-Bush. not trying to return to Reagan-Bush.
Its painfully easy to do this with Mitt Romney on just about any issue. I could put together a montage of flip flops on abortion, healthcare, immigration, you name it. As much as he wants us to believe it now that hes running for President, Mitt Romney is no conservative and never has been. Mitt Romney is a liberal.
Click here to read Part 1 of this series to learn about how Romney supported TARP. Click here for Part 2 to learn about how Romney appointed liberal judges in Massachusetts. Click here for part 3 to learn about about Romneys extensive pro-abortion record.
And the Un-Masking of Mitt Romney, the left-wing, Progressive Liberal, continues . . . | |
"If we must have an enemy at the head of Government, let it be one whom we can oppose, and for whom we are not responsible, who will not involve our party in the disgrace of his foolish and bad measures." - Alexander Hamilton |
Yes, he’s a liberal.
The next President of the United States will very likely be either Romney or Obama.
That’s the choice.
I can’t stand Romney - Obama is far worse.
"If we must have an enemy at the head of Government, let it be one whom we can oppose, and for whom we are not responsible, who will not involve our party in the disgrace of his foolish and bad measures." - Alexander Hamilton
Besides, I have no interest in the race if it is Romney vs Obama. *yawn*. That is like going to be like watching the DU Party primary. I'll probably sleep in on election day.
A liberal, a Conservative, and a Moderate go into this bar. What did the bartender say?

Hello Mitt
Maybe the Prohibition Party will have a candidate?
Unfortunately, it’s either Romney or Obama. Romney is a plastic political weathervane who believes in nothing but his nown ambition, while Obama is a willing tool of people who want to destroy the United States. It sucks that it’s come to this. Your complaints about Romney are accurate, but now, bringing them up accomplishes nothing constructive. There is one big difference between the two. I’m confident that can survive a President Romney. I don’t think we can survive four more years of President Obama.
Thanks Clintonfatigued, well said.
Taking advice from Alexander Hamilton is not a good sign, sadly you may be right, or at least right enough to garrentee this is enough of a lose-lose presidential election that it will be the bigger loss for us.
Lets face it Obama has a billion dollar campaign chest he built using OUR tax payer dollars laundered thou his friends & supporters. That is on top of his unwavering support in most of the media Beating this monster in elections which have long lost any sense of fairness or honestly is going to be something of a mirical.
Let us not in any of this ever lose focus upon our real objective, the restoration & preservation of our natural rights at any cost.
“I’m with Alexander Hamilton with regards to Romney as the Nominee:
“If we must have an enemy at the head of Government, let it be one whom we can oppose, and for whom we are not responsible, who will not involve our party in the disgrace of his foolish and bad measures.” - Alexander Hamilton”
Alexander Hamilton took his own advice in preswading congress to elect Thomas Jefferson(his enemy) in that act Hamilton not only lost his life in the subsequent duel but his faction ideology the federalist were decimated. Not to return to serous power for anther 20~ years, never in their then present form.
Hamilton’s advice was thankfully self-defeating fro him. What makes you think it wont be self-defeating for us?
Romney, McCain, Dole, Bush 1, Ford and most likely Nixon. The RNC does not represent me, although I must say I no longer send them a dime. I have also been thinking of re registering my political affiliation as Independent as I am not much interested in them.
Unfortunately, you are right.
This is one election that will either save us or destroy us.
It’s up to us to determine which is the lesser evil...and
I guess Myth is it. At least we’re pretty certain he IS an
American.
*sigh*
Welcome to the United Soviet States of America..where the Pravda State Media vet the candidates to the pleasure and needs of the RinoCrat UniParty.
This election will be a non-election...featuring the state approved candidates-whose only distinction is whether they are black or white.
I'll tell you what American can't survive: A conservative movement with no real principles left to them.
Which "conservative" support for Romney signals.
Absolutely right, Clintonfatigued!
Folks making the stay home or third-party argument are fools without a clue as to what Obama is. Romney and Obama are both true believers. The difference is that Obama is a true believer in the International Communist Revolution, whereas Romney is a true believer in ... Willard Mitt Romney. As President, Romney will do his best to accomplish whatever he thinks will enhance his resume, whereas Obama, no longer facing reelection, will work to complete his agenda to cut America down to size (relay that to Vladimir) and realize his father's dream of a socialist paradise.
If, as now seems highly likely, Romney is the nominee, it will be up to us to drag him across the finish line, along with enough conservative congress critters to make sure he etches the right sketch in 2013.
"If, to please the people, we offer what we ourselves disprove, how can we afterwards defend our work? Let us raise a standard to which the wise and the honest can repair. The event is in the hand of God."-- George Washington
"Republics are created by the virtue, public spirit, and intelligence of the citizens. They fall, when the wise are banished from the public councils, because they dare to be honest, and the profligate are rewarded, because they flatter the people, in order to betray them."-- Joseph Story, Commentaries on the Constitution, 1833
