Mayor Bloomberg is launching a campaign to overturn "stand your ground" laws around the nation, such as the one in Florida that led to the controversial shooting death of Trayvon Martin.
Bloomberg has scheduled a press conference this afternoon in Washington with the Rev. Al Sharpton, the NAACP, the National Urban League and other groups to announce the initiative...

I bet if Bloomberg had a gun pointed to his head he’d wished he had a gun. Ahh the nanny state, let’s beg the robber “Please don’t kill me, pretty please with sugar on top and a cherry”
And so it begins. As states like Cali release violent thugs into our streets, and the Feds refuse to enforce illegal immigration laws, we now have pols wanting to take away the law abiding (especially if you’re not brown) rights to defend yourself.
Maybe Gore-bull warming will flood the mayor’s office making him swim for his life?
Bloomberg wears Mary Poppins pajamas.
Oh, so the police have come up with a way to teleport themselves to us in an instant and save us from the bad guys?
No? Ok, then I’ll just ask you to kindly f*ck off back to your island, Bloomers.
To be replaced by “Die Like A Rabbit” laws.
Um, Bloomberg, last time I checked your skin color was not only white but also ethnically hated by your civilized New Black Panther Party.
Oh, that’s right, you have “security”.
When seconds count the police are just minutes away to type up a report over my now dead body.
You took away our french fries and cookies.
If I could afford it, I’d start purchasing and mailing pistols all over NYC with Bloombergs return address on them. Just random addresses to nowhere.
Or maybe we could start handing guns to homeless people so they could defend themselves in their own homes.
This is the line in the sand, folks.
The Zimmerman lynching is all about ending the “Stand Your Ground” trend.
I’m confused isn’t bloomturd a mayor of a city? Shouldn’t his number one interest be his city? I wish we could challeng these “leader” to a boxing match. You know like in highschool when you could “put on gloves” I would love to punch this creampuff in the face several times.
What is bloomtard trying to do? Get awarded white guy racebaiter in training status. Throw this turd out already.
Good, I hope they try it. Nothing would fire up gun owners more. It will be the 1994 Assault Weapons Ban all over again, democrats will be dropping like flies at the local, state and national level in every red state across the nation.
Won’t the repeal of these laws make it EASIER to attack black people?
Isn’t it brilliant to repeal a law based on a case in which it apparently won’t prevent a prosecution? /s
Why doesn’t he just try and pass a law that says— if you’re non black and a black person attacks you, you are at fault and can in no way defend yourself.
Because that is where we are right now as a country.
He lives in his own little world, but wants to rule us, come get me you SOB.
Bloomberg has bodyguards.
What about the “On the Ground” law? Is it okay to shoot when you’re on the ground.
All the families of all the people who have been murdered in NYC thank Mayor A__hole profusely.
Says a limousine liberal that has armed body guards the law says the public must obey. The ignorant liberal is about to find out that only the liberal Eastern States have such laws because they started with “You must run from criminals or else” laws that no Western States ever had.
BTW I intend to “stand my ground” against criminals no matter what the law says.
If somebody tries to bash my head in, they’re going to get shot. If someone tries to break into my house they’re going to get shot. etc etc.
His higher calling is that of a useful idiot in Obama's progressive army. He's reporting for duty, right on cue, to engage in an assault on the right to self defense.
