Notice: Free Republic has been in full rebellion mode since 2008 and will remain in full rebellion mode for the duration!

No more Doles!! No more McCains!! No more RINOS!!

NO ROMNEY!!

Those who cannot stomach rebellion might as well start looking for a new home on the net!!

Those who have ignored my hundreds of posts on this crucial issue or who have doubted me these last three or four years might as well get used to it. FR will never support the abortionist, homosexualist, socialist, mandate loving, constitution trampling liar Mitt Romney.

In case you haven't noticed, a TEA Party rebellion is on and Free Republic signed on years ago. There is no turning back. No more crap from the GOP-e!! They've screwed us for the last time!! Karl Rove and Mitt Romney, et al, loathe conservatism and loathe the tea party and took it upon themselves to use their money and connections to destroy nearly every one of our conservative tea party candidates while pushing their big government RINOS. That makes them the enemy. I will not reward that betrayal by giving them my support or my vote.

FR is and will remain a pro-life, pro-limited government conservative site!!

We are beholden to NO ONE!! We bow to no kings!! We bow to NO RINOS!!

I'd rather fight and die like a man than bend over and be screwed by a RINO!! I refuse to kiss Karl Rove or Mitt Romney's rings!! They can kiss my rosy red ass instead!!

FUMR!! FUGOP!!

Long live the rebellion!!

Hope my message is clear.

I’d be with Newt in a heartbeat if he can pull it off. He’s the best and most experienced conservative for the job of all running.

We won't know if it can happen if we don't try to make it happen.

I'm praying that we in little Delaware can make it happen, and send a nice rebellious message to the GOP.

There's plenty of Freepers left in the states that have not voted.

We would miss a tremendous opportunity to influence the course of events if we just focus now on November, when we can focus energy on August first.

Writing in Sarah Palin.

No Qualms.

Chips fall where they may. I’ve been around for awhile, paid taxes and worked all my life.

God will ultimately sort it all out. I’m good with voting conscience.

I won’t condemn brothers and sisters who in good conscience go elsewhere, but that’s where I’m at.

The system is broken.

Time to take it back.

That starts at the local level.

That is exactly what we need right now.

Then why did he get so few votes in the primaries? I like Newt, and I'd be glad to see him as our nomineee, but apparently, millions of GOP voters didn't see it that way.

And with that I'm fully expecting to be banned...permanently.If that happens I bid you all farewell.

I'll join you. I find the hypocracy here insane. A bit of the twilight zone. Four years ago, people were villified for pointing out McAmnesty's liberal stances. Probably many were banned. Now, many are pretending that never happened.

How can so many intelligent people ignore the reality of what really happened 4 years ago?

I find the stance of "No RINOs" admirable. But the hypocracy of pretending that has always been the case - that not so much. I would respect honesty more.

That all you got?

I learned my lesson long ago. People lacking principle and integrity, such as those willing to abandon their claimed conservatism, need be mocked often and loudly. It is no sign of maturity to vote liberal.

Deal with it.

4 more years comes with the end of the US as we know it.

I am not even 40.. but..

Given the stories my grandfather told me, the stories my great grandfather told me, the history I have read..

I am ready for the end of the US as I know it.

It is time to return to what this great country was based on. We have strayed so far from what our founders intended I don’t think any of them would recognize it any more.

“We are beholden to NO ONE!! We bow to no kings!! We bow to NO RINOS!! “

ROCK ON BROTHER!!! Preach it!! Can I get a witness here!!

Consevatives we got to do our part if it means all of us showing outside the convention with millions of us shouting stomping the ground chanting NEWT! NEWT! NEWT! in unison. We have got to get out the vote if we are going to turn this thing around some way. Right now is a good time to come together and pray for God to deliver US and call, write, and emial everyone we can think of. If we don’t show up it will be “Meet the new boss, Same as the old boss” and our nation is screwed in the worst way.

We got to Stop B.O.-The-ZerO!!!

“You can fool all of the people some of the time, and some of the people all of the time, but you can’t fool all of the people all of the time.” Abraham Lincoln

Lemme see now, in order that would be RINOs, Democrats, and the owners of US Treasury Bonds when they try to cash them in.

BTW, what has Romney EVER done to reduce the size of ANY Government?

Punt. Or rebellion. Voting for a known abortionist/socialist liar is definitely not an option.

Turnout on election day and vote for every conservative on your ballot. Take it back through local, state and congressional offices. Be sure to tell every GOPer you can why you reject Romney and why you no longer support the RINO GOP.

Rebellion starts locally.

Indeed!

It really is sad. Truth is, we’re all on the same team here, but this issue (which is a big one!) could fracture us badly.

I’m afraid I’m a candidate for eviction. I’ll be voting for Romney and insisting on a Conservative Veep. I’ll vote for every Conservative I can from dog catcher up. Realistically, it’s the best I can do. I believe Romney can win. I’ll show myself the door. Thanks for the years. :).”

Jim, If Romney is the actual nominee, what is the alternative ?
I've got a question for you...
What alternatives can you think of?
Voting for everybody on the ticket except for POTUS?
Write in a candidate.
Don't vote at all?

Surely you have to have some ideas of your own.
Or do you go through life always expecting others to do your thinking for you?

If I vote for XYZ. My vote is counted for XYZ...not Obama, and not Romney. As much as you may to pretend that elections are mutually exclusive events (big words alert), they are not.

Nonsense. We are faced with a binary choice of 0bama in or 0bama out. A vote for a write-in or fringe candidate does absolutely nothing to harm 0bama's chance of re-election. You might as well skip the presidential preference vote if you aren't going to support the only viable challenger to 0bama. (At this point there is no question that the viable challenger will be the GOP nominee.) A vote for the nominee cancels a vote for 0bama. A vote for a fringe candidate is a mere protest, which in the grand scheme works against the GOP nominee and in 0bama's favor (assuming your natural tendency would NOT be to favor 0bama). Pretend all you want, but you are aiding 0bama by voting for anyone other than his most serious challenger.

Thanks. I think that sums it up, but not one of these Romneybots will touch it. They would then have to admit they are wrong. And someone willing to abandon their principles/morality to vote for Romney will NEVER admit that. They can’t.

You asked an excellent question, and one I have asked myself. Newt led the debates and made Obama answer to him.

My theory is that a lot of conservatives liked Rick because he had a cleaner life—ie no moral baggage like Newt had.

Now for whatever reason folks voted for Rick no longer matters—he negated their votes by bowing out.

But I did not think Rick had what it takes to take on the DC establishment, and Newt does.

Whatever happened before April 10th at 2:30 EST when Rick bowed out is now in the past.

The new political reality is that there is one conservative standing and one RINO SOB standing.

To me the choice is very simple.

Go Newt! Send him to Tampa and send the GOP a message—our choice is NOT Romney.
