I’m porting this from the 2nd thread since people cannot seem to get a grip regardless of how many times Jim posts his policy.

Everyone is making this way more complicated than it is. I am asking every person on this thread who intends to vote for Mitt Romney the following, and I ask that you post a simple yes or no response without ‘reasons’.

1: Do you consider yourself a conservative?
2: Are you aware of Mitt Romney’s record?
3: Did you read the opening post by JR on this thread and understand it?
4: Do you still intend to vote for Mitt Romney despite the above?

Again, simple Yes/No answers. Nothing else. If you are willing to vote Romney, then you should be just as willing to HONESTLY answer these questions on an open forum. Let us all see where you stand.

...All experience hath shewn, that mankind are more disposed to suffer, while evils are sufferable, than to right themselves by abolishing the forms to which they are accustomed.

But when a long train of abuses and usurpations, pursuing invariably the same Object evinces a design to reduce them under absolute Despotism, it is their right, it is their duty, to throw off such .... and to provide new Guards for their future security

This is true of a party as much as a government, and that is what this rebellion of non-support for Romney or ANY non-Conservative is about.

We've suffered a train of long abuses from the GOP Ruling Class long enough. Their running a near-clone of Obama and shoving him down all our throats while working to destroy Conservatives is despotic treason to our principles. It can no longer be supported, REGARDLESS of the inane and false argument that not voting for Romney will destroy the country. The GOP Ruling Class chose to destroy the country and ensure Obama's re-election by running Romney in the first place.

It's interesting that the nature of man has not changed, and men are willing to suffer evil, while it is sufferable than right themselves and throw off the shackles that enslave them.

We need new guards for our nation and our principles and we can no longer do that within the Republican Party or with this nominee they have foisted upon us.

Inspiring. Count me in.

Actually, this has been my position since the RINO Bill Buckley kicked PJB out of the GOP nearly 20 years ago. It's been clear that electing RINOs is not in our interest since then. Don't know how any conservative could ever have supported Karl Rove's party in 2000 and 2004, or McCain's bid in 2008. It's really beyond me how so many of my conservative friends took all that abuse for so long, apparently in the name of some forlorn hope that the Trotskyite Neocons running the Party since Buckley showed his true colors would somehow morph into conservatives.

But, better late than never.

It's far, far better to lose the Presidential election this year to an open Socialist than to elect a Trotskyite poser with an "R" behind his name. We're actually not so bad on defense. Obamacare might well go down in flames, for example. We can play a strong defense for another term if that's what it takes to cleanse the GOP of the Trotskyites once and for all.

To paraphrase Chiang-kaishek, Liberals are a disease of the skin, Neocons are a disease of the heart.

First things first.
